    Love the birthday card

Ok, DP's SA results are in:
    Volume 1.5ml
    Count 18million
    Motility 32
    Mobility 32
    Abnormal 97%.
This is really bad isn't it

Ohhh my goodness, that's the second time I have lost a long post!!!!!

Annie - congrats on your BFP!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months

Silent - those SA results don't sound great What did the Dr say? Is your DP booked in for a repeat test at all?

Magic - your poor DH with his ankle - glad to hear it's all healing up though! Will he be able to give you a hand with all the stuff you're needing to do or is it still too bruised? Sounds like you've had a couple of hiccups with the party (washing?? ) but I'm sure it'll come together and everyone will have an awesome time (including your DH, maybe he's saying he doesn't want a party cos he thinks you haven't planned anything?)

I haven't had any repeat bloods, DH has been convincing me to wait until the scan..which is Monday!! I am really hanging out for it

Pink - 12 week scan on Monday??!!! I didn't realise you were so far along!! How exciting Are you starting to show at all yet?

Thanks for the reassurance about the cramping too, it is nice to hear you and your sister had them and all is ok

Elly - sorry to hear the consult wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Here's to a BFP between now and your "deadline"..although I agree with Chic, I wouldn't make it too rock solid as that's pretty stressful!! Just whenever you guys feel ready (and hopefully you don't have to)

Lisa - I haven't seen that show but have heard about it, don't have Foxtel so might have to download some episodes. Only 14 weeks to go! You almost bought a cot so that counts..but I'm sure you'll have heaps of time to get everything you need

Chic - I have heard that it's less but better quality with down reg (although I don't know a huge amount about those cycles). When is your next scan? Slow growing follies has to be a good thing..the eggs are getting lots of care put into them as they grow (if that makes sense). Ouch with the bruising though, hope they go down soon

Chunky - sorry to hear the Metaformin isn't treating you nicely - I hope the nausea stops for you soon

Summa - we defs need a belly pic!! How exciting that you can hear the heartbeat daily, that's so cool. Do you know when you will start to feel kicks??

AFM - Cramping hasn't really eased but is happening less frequently which is reassuring..AAND I really am feeling sick now which is brilliant; when I'm hungry and straight after I eat is when I feel the most sick - no chucking (yet) but I had to lay really still this morning. I've taken a flex day from work as I was in Canberra Mon/Tues and it really wore me out. Reaaaalllly looking forward to our scan on Monday, I really can't wait. Hoping so much that there's a heartbeat and everything looks good.

I had a dream the other night that I had the scan - it was like looking through a peephole (the fishbowl kind of view) and there was this little lion cub peering back at me. It was a very cute lion cub but I remember feeling slightly disturbed

Annie - Oh my! Congratulations!!!!!! Got any pics of todays hpts?

Silent - Aww hun, I'm so sorry. Those results sure aren't great, but you should definitely get your DP to do a 2nd SA. Sperm quality can vary quite a lot. There was a thread recently where a lady's DH's first SA came back with 0% motility, and 2 weeks later they had a repeat SA with a MASSIVE improvement in motility.

Lisa - I don't have foxtel, but I've heard a few people mention that show. It's sounds good!

Nocturne - DH has managed to help me with some stuff (mostly moving large objects). If his ankle weren't so black, I'd almost believe he was faking the whole thing!
Omgoodness, your scan has come around quick!!! (it seems quick to me anyway, I'm sure it's been an eternity for you though!) I can't wait to hear how it goes!!!
LMAO at your dream too, I'd love a baby lion cub!

AFM - I cleaned nearly the ENTIRE house yesterday in one shot. I told DH when he got home that it was a mini b'day present for him - because he's a neat freak and our house has been a bombsite for months with the renos. I think he bought it!
MIL rang me yesterday to have a quick chat about the party and what food everyone is bringing, I swear no one reads my emails! Everyone has different ideas about what is happening, especially with DH's b'day shopping spree present. Oh well, hopefully it will all work out ok. SIL is arriving tonight, so hopefully she can tell me what the heck everyone is doing!

    Wish me luck!

    Default Have Been MIA!

    Hi everyone...

Looks like whilst i have been MIA there has been quite a lot of info in here..

Annie - CONGRATULATIONS!!! Such a new and exciting time... here's to it being a healthy and sticky pregnancy!

Silent - I can't begin to imagine what you and DP are going through...

Lisa - We don't have foxtel but managed to see some episodes when it was on free to air tv a few months back... There are definitely some interesting people out there! lol... some of the episodes made me laugh, cry and some even made me cringe with embarassment for some of the people on it!

Magic - I can't believe the party is nearly here! It seems like the time has just flown by so quickly!! I'm sure it will be a fantastic night and great surprise!!!

Pink - 12 weeks already... jeepers... that's crazy.. time really is getting the better of me... seems like not that long ago i read about your BFP... i guess for you tho the wait to see your bub would have felt like an eternity!!!

Nocturne - Baby lion cub?! I love baby lion cubs.. they look so playful and cute... I recently looked up some dream interpretations.. and remember reading something about Lions... my recollection may be somewhat wacky but i think seeing lions symbolises power, courage, strength, pride... all amazing things to feel when you are UTD! I guess if you're having worrying thoughts then this dream may be telling you to find your power, courage etc instead of worrying?!

AFM - Nothing on the TTCing front.. being so busy that we haven't had any since last Sunday.. might need to change that tonight tho! I think i'm Oing somewhere between Tues and Fri... so better start every second day now hey?! I have also finally had an abdominal scan to see if there is anything that may be explaining the reflux, weird stomach issues i've been having.. sonographer (is that what they're called?) asked a few odd questions... my GP had requested the scan looking at my gall bladder, liver functioning and bile duct something or other!? The odd questions have me a little worried, but at least the GP appointment is on Wednesday so should have some solid answers... here's hoping it's nothing serious that stops us from TTC....

    A

Angelski: Thanks darling! I really hope the scan goes well. Im sure its just a precaution? They always make things out to be worse than theyare to try and prepare you for the worst (trust me, I know, I do it all the time!).

Magic: I know its for the party but it sounds like you're nesting! I have new pics of the BFPs at 13 and 14 dpo in my journal!

Nocturne: Thanks! I am cramping too I dontg necessarily enjoy it but it is kind of reassuring to me to know that there is something happening in there because its not like AF cramps. How exciting that your scan is coming up! I cant wait to hear/see that tiny heart beat!

Lisa: Thanks! Hopefully the next 7 weeks fly by! I want to stop work at 6 months as Im on my feet all day as a nurse but im not sure if it will effect the parenting payment. In fact im not even sure if im eligible for it!

AFM: 3 weeks 5 days today. Bloated as heck and tired to boot! Babysitting a 6 week old tonight (and a 3 year old). I am very excited about that! I do have plenty of practice with babies being a nurse and an ex nanny but somehow it feels different today! Drs appointment on Monday for my bloods - taking my Mum with me who is a little hesitant to show any excitement until the bloods show a positive result because of what happened last month I'll show her! Everything is going to be fine, I just know it!

Lovepink, How exciting that you have your scan tomorrow can't wait to hear all about it.
I used GonalF last cycle too and I had 12 follies which is a good response, but it was an antagonist cycle. If I'm not mistaken, a down reg gives less follies but a more even growth (and better quality??). Oh well, I don't really know. Last time we ended up with 4embies, so we'll see how we do this time...

Chunky, I'm sorry the metformin is making you feel like crap. But yay for getting in with the FS so soon!

Summa, Thanks hun. So exciting that you've popped! I love it when you can just about tell that someone is pregnant, it's the best pregnancy look..

Magic, the birthday card is really cool, def manly enough! I'm sure DH will love it. When is D-day? or was it this weekend? Time difference is a real killer

Silent, So sorry about DP's SA result. What's the Dr saying about it?

Annie COngrats on the BFP, definitely can see the second line. Very exciting!!

nocturne, Can't wait to hear about your scan tomorrow, I'm sure it will all go well. Glad the cramps are not happening as often, but I'm sure it's only bubs making itself comfy in there. YAY for the nausea, it's always reassuring...

angelski, I hope the GP appointment goes well and there's nothing going on stopping you from ttc.

AFM, Looks like EPU will be thursday!!! FINALLY! today's scan showed that the follies had grown nicely with most of them around 15mm, and lining was 7.4 which is good. So I am to go back on tuesday for another scan and all the trigger and EPU instructions. If all goes well, transfer should be sunday, I just can't wait to be PUPO already, I'm so over the jabbing!

Magic - How did the party go? Was it a roaring success?

Silent - Hopefully the FS can help out!

Annie - Oh wow, congratulations! Here's a to a blessed and healthy pregnancy!

Angel - Maybe the odd questions came from the sonographer just trying to get their head around what they were looking for and not indicative of anything to be concerned of? Hopefully the GP can clear things up.

Nocturne - Scan today! How exciting!

Chic - Sounds like things are happening! I hope everything turns out to plan for you!

Chunky - Oh wow your appointment will be here in no time! The Metformin doesn't sound friendly

Bubba - How are you going? I read in your diary about your overseas holiday at the end of the month! How exciting!

Summa - Aww yay for popping! And your morph scan soon! But sucks that you still don't have 2nd trimester energy! Can you point at your belly and say 'See this? now let me nap!'

Lisa - 7 weeks left! Wow, that isn't long! I've heard of One Born Every Minute, DH's boss+wife have Austar and she tells me all about it. Actually, there are some random shows around. I watched My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding the other night with them and it was sooo weird!

Have I missed anyone? if I have!

AFM - Well after my little sulk about last week I'm actually doing fine. It was short-lived as usual! I rang the IVF offices and booked us in for November 15 (sooooo far away!) and then felt a rush of relief! So yeah, thanks everyone for saying all those nice things and telling me to not worry about the appointment - I thought I would be hung up on it, but I'm not. It's quite nice!

I think O is in a few days - we're going to be throwing caution to the wind and taking the advice of the Billings book and delaying BD-ing for a couple of days prior because our usual effort probably wipes DH's supply out early! We'll see how that pans out!

Our holiday at the end of this month with T&M (DH's boss+wife) has been planned! I lost track of all the NSW towns we'll be visiting, but I think Nimbin, Kempsie, Armidale, Newcastle... among others will be visited! I'm excited - I've only been to Sydney and Woollongong!

Hmm, oh and F&C (brother and SIL) arrived, stayed one night, then vanished to housesit for a fortnight leaving us in peace for BD-ing this month! Thanks kids!
