Anniej - Hope you got a good nights sleep after all that 'nerding out' Research is fun!

Summa - OMG Congrats on bubby most likely being a boy! How exciting!!!!
SIL is still taking DH shopping at this point, given that she doesn't hurt her back again.

Lyla - How did the test go????

Nocturne - Yippeeeee for the nausea! Sorry to hear about the spotting though, I'd freak out about that too! But considering your hpts are getting darker and you're getting nauseous, I'm sure everything is A-Ok! By the way, how many tests have you burned through now? Got a tally for us?

Elly - Can't wait for your FS appointment! Are you going to test before then? It is good that you don't get an instant family, I think I would die of shock if I suddenly woke up and had 2-3 kids! Holy heck!

Lisa - Awww Booo about the cot! Who sells a cot then turns around and says 'Oh wait, I'm not done with it yet'??? Weird!

Angelski - It's not crazy to think about/plan for when you are pregnant. I think it's impossible not to! I had my names picked out, nursery designed (in theory), and was planning my own baby shower in my first few months of TTC.

AFM - The count down is on for DH's surprise b'day party, only 1.5 weeks to go and boy am I in a panic! The 'party' was only supposed to be a couple of family members, but somehow the head count is now at 19!
I have no idea how I'm going to pull this off! The house is a mess of renovations, the back yard looks like down town Baghdad, the verandah (our usual 'party area') is currently a construction site/storage area..... Arrrggghhh.
And I have at least 8 people who will be staying here overnight, one only one spare room (which is a temporary laundry).
Oh and my MIL pointed out something... I have no heating in the main area of the house, so everyone is going to freeze to death!
And I can't get or prepare any food in advance. I'll only have a few hours on the Saturday to set everything up.
    Somebody shoot me????

    Hi girls!

Sorry I have been completely MIA for a while. I've been trying not to think about TTC as its been more trying than conceiving! But I feel ready to start facing it again and I'll start by trying to do my best with the catchups of the personals!!!

Magic - Best of luck with DH's party! Sounds like you've got quite a challenge ahead of you but you know what they say when you bite off more then you can chew..... Chew like hell!!

Summa - congrats on your little dude!!! How exciting! Time is flying and its great everything is going well

AnnieJ - for a BFP in a couple weeks!!! I'm like you - doing lots of reading on being pregnant. Have you seen that show One born every minute??! Its on Foxtel at the moment with all different women's experiences giving birth (and its not graphic/scary!). Very interesting!!

Nocturne - Congratulations on your BFP!! Love hearing the good news!

Lyla - Howd the testing go?!!

Elly - Best of luck with your FS appointment on Friday or better yet, not needing it and getting the BFP (and surviving the in-laws!)

Lisa80 - How annoying you didn't get that cot! Was that on ebay?! I've had heaps of people lately back out or change their mind on things... so different from what it used to be... Its not Target people! I sold concert tickets and then just before the concert they backed out... GRR! Anyway I'm sure it just means there's a better cot you'll love even more waiting for you down the road

    Big Hi to everyone else

AFM during the hiatus Hubby had his SA done and he was all fine Motility was below average (Not great) however his count was nearly 3 times what was normal so in terms of the actual number of good sperm it evened out to be good. All the other counts were fine also. I've had blood tests to see if I have PCOS and also to see whether I am ovulating which has taken ages as when I got the pathology requests, the days I was due to have them I was overseas for work so I had to wait another month before I had them. They're done now and guess what - I'm ovulating! However it almost leaves more questions than answers........ so I have an appointment on friday with the GP to go over all of my results and she has said to hubby when he got his results that if we want to still proceed with intervention we can make an appointment which for a top specialist she said can take a while. However this just means we can still try in the meantime and if we get a BFP we can always cancel - if we dont then we've got the appointment.

    Frrrrrrrrrustrating!

    xxxxx

Magic I do not envy you throwing that party! And no, we wont shoot you, not before you get your BFP!

Chunkymonkey I couldnt handle that kind of waiting around! I wish you the best of luck and patience and of course, baby dust Keep us updated!

AFM Ugh. 5 DPO today. Cramping continues, mildly sore BBS and every so tired still - even after a good 8 hours sleep last night. All fo this before implantation might occur? Goodness help me. Im in for a ride. Not not testing until next Sunday at DPs request (why do there have to be two minds involved in this!? ).

    Hey Guys,

Summa - Wow.. Cant believe they might know the sex already of bub.. How exciting being a boy.. Bet you cant wait for the 20wk scan.

Ely - Good luck with your FS appointment. Not long now until you test... How are you feeling?

Nocturne - Thinking sticky vibes for you. I can imagine you would be worried with the spotting but hopefully its just bubba getting in there nice & strong. A little bit of nausea now & then can only mean good things to come.. Bring on the symtoms..

Angel - Perfectly normal to be thinking about names & everything pregnancy whist not pregnant..lol.. I always use to think about how i would tell people i was pregnant at 12 weeks & im no where near pregnant yet..lol

Chunky - Yay for ovulating.. Hoping all your tests come back fine.. Your job sounds important being able to work overseas..

Annie - All your symtoms sound promising even if its 5dpo. I believe you can feel symtoms that early on for sure.. People might tell you different though.

Lisa - Sucks about not getting the cot. You might still get it yet though because maybe they will change there mind. Im sure something else will come up for you if not..

    Lyla - Did you Test???

AFM - Nothing much happening.. Im getting bad ovary pain after the IVF cycle.. I dont know what is going on. Its a bit painful actually.. Its to early to be ovulation pains im thinking its just my ovaries trying to get back to where they were & breathing a sigh of relief that they are getting a break whilst punishing me for doing this to them...lol..

Magic - I cant believe i forgot about you.. How can i forget about doing a personal for you.. So sorry.. I had you down on my list & everything.. Wish i could blame it on pregnancy brain..lol..
I think you will do great for DH's party.. Sounds like you will be very busy organising everything though expecially since you have to be ready a day earlier as your DH is taking time off.. Go out & buy a couple of those poxy cheap heaters to solve your heating problems.. You will be fine.. Now just breath..

    Hi All!

Bubba- i have been thinking of you a lot lately. I hope you are doing okay. I did get a little pain after my failed attempts but it wasn't any worse than just a bit of a crampy feeling. Have you asked the clinic if that is normal? hope it settles down soon.

Lisa- how exciting! Lucky she was organised otherwise! How are you doing?

Annie- i'll hae my fingers crossed for you on sunday!

Chunky- so glad you are o'ing and dh's results were okay. Hope you get your bfp before you go to the docs!

Magic- woo hoo- 1.5 weeks to go! lol You poor thing. I have no idea how you could hide all that food- under the bed lol. Do you have a nice neighbour or something? Just tell the family to bring their ski gear - it'll be a winter adventure in your lounge room Seriously i hope it all goes really well and DH gets a really lovely suprise!

Summa- OMG! How exciting a little boy! I can't believe they can tell that early. wow, wow, wow!!!!!

Lyla- I sprinkled lots of baby dust for you. Hope everythingis okay!

Nocturne- yay! i know it is strange to get excited about feeling sick but yay! Hope the spotting has settled down as well as those cramps. I know how scary they can be!

Elly- good luck for your FS appointment tomorrow!

Chic- how is everything going over there? You would have started your cycle by now?

    Sorry to anyone i missed

AFM- Flat out at work this last week! But am really excited to have a weekend away this weekend! We are going to the Gold Coast for an engagement party so really looking forward to it! Might even have time to see the beach!!!! yay!

Magic - hope all the party planning is going well. I wouldn't worry about no heating in the house, everyone will be rugged up anyway, and if you've got a few people in there the body heat will help. I've only done one more test to what's in the pic, I think DH would forcibly restrain me if he knew I wanted to buy more!!

Chunky - that's great news that your DH's SA came back looking really good. I hope you can get some answers soon; do you have an appointment date? Of course, like you said, a sneaky BFP would be even better!

Lisa - hope your friend and her bub are going well

Annie - Good luck for this month! You don't get any symptoms pre-implantation as there is no hCG being secreted as yet (although Dr Google will say otherwise)

Bubba - sorry to hear of the ovary pain I hope it starts to ease off for you soon. Thinking of you.

Pink - yay for a mini-holiday! Should be nice weather for a weekend away too, it was almost warm in Brissie today

Elly - how did you go today?

    Hi to everyone else

AFM - I got home from work today and promptly hopped into bed (in my work clothes) and fell asleep

I actually rang the clinic yesterday as I was freaking out about the cramps (they've gotten worse and I have to stop what I'm doing when they happen and kinda breathe through them) but they reassured me that it all should be ok. Just very nerve racking and I will be very happy when it's scan date. A little bit more spotting but only twice (and just when I wiped, sorry TMI)

Anyway, I have to go as tea is sitting next to me and I WILL get it all over the laptop if I try to multi-task...

Sorry everyone, this will be all about me...

DP and I went to the GP yesterday to try get him fixed. His first problem is that he has no libido, at all, which is driving me bonkers, because mine is on overdrive. So, his GP is going to consult with a colleague and try work out something that will bring the libido back. In the meantime we have a script for viagra, which we havent filled yet because it is very expensive ($60 for 4 tablets) We managed to dtd last night after I left DP alone for a LOOOOONG time to try get in the mood, and unfortunately he did not last very long, so I am still a messy ball of hormones.

The other thing is we have got a slip to get a semen analysis done, so DP is booked in to do his 'deposit' on tuesday morning, which is why it was important for us to dtd last night. Fingers crossed that by this time next week we will have a plan of what to do with the libido issues, and DP's sperm analysis results may be done. Not sure.

I have a bunch of EWCM today and strong ovulation pains on my right side, so hopefully I ovulate and we catch the eggy, but if not, we will have a game plan for next month.

Please take care everyone and I will do a proper catch up soon.
