    Default Ten pin bowling

This is a really random question but I am planning on taking kids bowling in the holidays, my 3 and my friends 2, and I am trying to budget the cost and so was wondering how many games of bowling would be good? The kids are almost 4, almost 6, 8, 8, and 12. I think 2 games would be good for the older ones but I worry that the younger ones will get bored and I will be wasting my money. 2 games will end up costing me $100 (including lunch) whereas one game will only cost about $45 (not including lunch). So quite $$$ for 2 games really and I'm not made of money! But then I worry if 1 game is not enough and then I have them all whinging at me for another game LOL.

Anyone have any experience with taking kids bowling?

    Thanks.

Bowling is fun with kids. Yes, it is expensive but once in a while, it's worth it for the good times. We're going over the hols, but our local bowling alley have $2 bowling on Tues nights so it won't be too expensive.

If one game is all you can afford, that's fine. It's still fun and a great way to waste an hour.

$2, wow I'm so jealous! Our cheap games are $8!

True that even one game will be fun, I'm sure they'd appreciate it either way.

I think one game is fine As you each get lots of turns anyway in one game (I think 10 goes all up, with at least two tries each time?). I am sure you kids will have a ball no matter how many games. Go with what you can afford!

When DP take DS1 and DSS (both 3) they get over it after the first game and tend to get a bit restless, but I understand they are younger then yours. AMF have a special they are running over the school holidays - I think it was free hotdog meal with every game over $14.95 and additional games are $5

I was going to say one game

My 5 almost 6 yo just went to a bowling party and the kids really enjoyed most of the first game but were certainly getting a bit over it by the last couple of frames lol!

Check the back of supermarket dockets too, our local bowling place often has an advert for discounted bowling on there.
