what was that school like? We have an appointment there in 20 minutes for DD for year 5 next year. At the moment they are way over at MWDS and its insane driving that far over every day but when we first came back here we were over at Warabrook. It's not our zoned school, we're just out of area for it, and for HSPS, we're zoned for merewether I don't want to go there for a few reasons, one its out of the way and not convenient for us really, two it has a large intake from an area (ohh this makes me sound like such a snob and I'm not I promise) I'd rather not have her going to play dates in, three the principal basically said to me oh if you have a kid who is somewhat smart and well behaved we'll have them, regardless of zone lolol made alarm bells go for me.

So the chair school is where we'll try theres big chair on the corner lol. I have to stay here with bubba grumpy so DH is off to try and wing it. He plans to push the 'big brother MHS' thing lolol

I'm not sure what APS is like anymore to be honest, my youngest sibling finished there about 4 years ago and it had gone downhill a fair bit since I was there a so many million years ago....

I have heard very very good things about the chair school... so good luck!

I've got everything crossed for out of zone apps myself.... HNPS (teeny tiny place) and NSPS (that would be my ideal!).... Good luck!

We've done a few out of zone options before, they started school before we left here at junction and that was a principal appointment too, key is to impress them, lol. the one here got moved at the last minute until next term so we have some thinking time - principal got delayed at sport.

    good luck with yours
