    Default Can anyone recommend some good child care centres/FDC in Calamvale?

    Hi all, I'm a new parent and will send my daughter to child care next January when she will be turning 11 months. Can anyone please recommend some good child care centres / FDC around Calamvale? Thanks!

    Hi,

    You will need to contact a Family Day Care scheme in your area. The closest schemes are;

    Acacia Ridge YMCA Family Day Care - 07 3277 0990
    Brisbane South Family Day Care - 07 3216 7677

    Alternatively, visit our website www.fdca.com.au

    I hope this helps you.

    Hi ,
    I am living in calamvale too and planing to send my son to childcare next Mar when he is turning 18 mths. 2 friends sent their kid to The Avenue childcare(meal provided, good staff but older facility I thought. they got two centre, one is in 488 Jackson Rd. another in Runcorn, I am not sure if they accept 11 mths) most of them got good feedback. I have visited ABC Calamvale, their environment is not bad but cost 79 a day( provide 3 meals, accept younger age from 6 wks). Also heard a childcare in Gowan rd. is not bad , you can have a check. I am going to visit YMCA long day care in Acacia Ridge and will sure feedback later.

    Depends on your reasons for sending them to child care. If it is for social reasons then I can't help, but if it's just for a break then I know a company that does child minding in your home.
