yup also 5 weeks along! I believe DT75 and sunnygirl79 also are!

I wasn't offered any scans. is this weird?

just got my blood work results, been a nervous wreck this whole time since friday. all good so very happy.

they tested for rubella, hep b, syphilis and he did the hcg test. but no hiv. is that not part of the standard suitcase of antenatal testing??
It's normal to not be offered early scans. With DS I had to ask for a dating scan and explain why (I was unsure if my dates/irregular cycle). I don't think they can deny you a (dating) scan if you ask for one, it was also bulk billed. Otherwise you have to wait until 12 weeks.
This time round my OB will do an early one as I had a MC last year so it's for peace of mind as well as checking early viability.
I never had any blood tests before 12 weeks with DS and only got checked for BHCG with my 2nd pregnancy because they couldn't find it on the scan. Not all docs do blood tests, yours sounds very thorough!

nah I've not noticed any weight changes yet, boobs feeling a bit fuller but that's it. I don't actually have any real symptoms. no ms yet that's for sure. not sure if that's normal or not?? I guess it's such early days still.

re scans: ahh ok, that makes sense @sunnygirl79 thanks for clarifying! I knew the exact date of my LMP so I guess he was pretty sure how far along I am.

are you ladies going public or private? I'm leaning towards public (shared care) at the moment, but that's assuming all continues ok and I'm low risk. booked in for a maternity tour at my preferred hospital for a couple of weeks time and have another one for my 2nd choice (well last choice really, there's only 2 public hospitals I'm zoned for) this Saturday. will be good to check out the facilities and make a decision and hopefully book myself in ASAP. my preferred choice fills up quick so I'm keen to get in early! so much to think about!!!
MS usually doesn't set in for a few weeks yet, but everyone is different. If you are lucky you won't get any at all. No hard and fast rules! My appetite has been scant and I get dizzy if I stand up too quick but that's about it.
I did refrain from wearing my ultra tight skinny jeans on the wknd in case I was restricting blood flow to my uterus, talk about paranoid!

We will go private this time. For a few reasons but mainly because I don't like our local public (there is only one). I was living in a different state for DS and public was fine there.
Should we start another thread rather than continuing in the TTC section??

    I'm around @Wheaty

I've been watching from the sidelines a little! This is our first cycle trying but I'm not expecting too much as I'm still getting to know my cycles since coming off the pill. I'll test at the end of July to see if we got lucky!

    What's your story?

Woohoo for not being alone here!

Second cycle trying since coming of the pill, didn't expect much last cycle, have a small hope for this cycle.
Pretty sure I should ov this weekend and DH is home tomorrow for a week so fingers crossed

We already have 2 dd's, and this (if all goes to plan) will be our first planned baby

That's great! Well fingers crossed that this is your lucky cycle! I have long cycles since coming off the pill - I'm due to o in about 2 weeks so we're just BD when we feel like it right now and might ramp it up closer to o time. I'd love to see a BFP at the end of July but not holding my breath just yet.

I've moved over to the Foxy February Mums chat thread with @tam82, rather than start another 😊.

To everyone else I truly wish you all the best for some nice sticky BFPs very soon! Thanks for all your support and chat this month x
