Default 7 Month old with Dry Skin

My 7 Month old has dry, scaly skin on mainly his cheeks and dry, rough skin on his knees - well I hope it is just dry skin anyway.
Do you moisturize your babies skin? If so, what do you use? I am a bit unsure about using moisturiser because of all the ingredients in it and if it is it OK to use on babies skin.

One DS I use moogoo Scalp cream which is suitable for babies and has all natural ingredients too but it is a bit pricey at around $24 a tub, I have also heard good things about the QV and giah?(sp) ranges.

I think if you stick to the more natural ranges you should be ok

I would recommend Moogoo also :-) my son has eczema and is prone to dry skin and I recently came across Moogoo at my local pharmacy. It is natural with NO nasties, which is very important to me. I was using Gaia but found the creams weren't hydrating enough, although it is also a lovely product.

DD gets dry skin on her cheeks because of the cold weather. I use Aveeno Baby and she hasn't had dry skin since.

I have also bought Moo Goo Scalp Cream for DD's cradle cap, just started using this yesterday so hoping for good results soon.

Seems I should invest in some Moogoo - where can you get this from? But I also like the idea of putting Dermaveen in the bath.

    Thanks for all the suggestions

My DS also has dry skin but he is quite sensitive too, I found a 5c piece sized blob of sorbelene cream in his bath every 2nd day works wonders.

You can buy it direct from their website, otherwise their website has a list of stockists. I bought mine from our local pharmacy, same price as online.

Ds has had very dry skin since birth! I use a natural soap in his bath (the j&j's dried him out more) and just use aveeno moisturizer from the supermarket & it works a treat!
