Default Advice on buying an enclosed trampoline

I am after some thoughts and experiences with trampolines. I want to get one of the new enclosed types and I have the latest K Mart and Big W toy sale catalogues. The only thing is that sometimes I see some in backyards and they look really crappy and I am not sure if that is because they were cheap ones or just not looked after properly and have been trashed from rough play.
My boys will be 5 and 7 at Christmas time.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who is happy with a purchase and can recommend a brand or store and alternatively if you have been dissapointed with a purchase..

Can I ask where you got yours from?

I am wanting to get one for DD but am worried too that the K-mart/Big W ones are just cheap crap.
I have NO idea about that sort of thing.

We got on 18mths ago and it looks like one of the crappy ones you have spied in peoples backyard LOL.
We got the 16ft in the Target toy sale so it was 400 down from 7-800?
Not cheap but the canvas has rotted
. We have friends who purchased the same one at the same time and there's looks awesome still. Maybe we're just feral Haha.

You should see our wooden swingset we bought from Target a few years ago as it is now falling apart whereas some frends looks great still.

Our track record is not great and so don't want to spend say $300 odd and it not last for years.

We got one from target in the toy sale last year and it's great. It's holding up really well outside. Ours has a metal pole that goes around the very top of the tramp and the net is hung from that and also has poles that it ties to as well and i think this makes all the difference. So the net has held it's shape and hasn't stretched or discoloured at all

We have just bought one and I put hours of research into it because I needed one that would withstand some sun, salty air and lots of kids.
In the end we decided not to buy a cheap import (from Big W, Toyworld etc) and bought an Australian designed and made here in Qld and only two weeks in and we love it. We bought online from Vuly....about $700
Whatever you buy, I think it's important not to let water pool on the pads, I think that will prolong their life a bit more
I hope that helps a little

My parents brought my boys a trampoline for Christmas last year, It's very heavy duty, purchased from Amart Allsports, Holds up to 130Kg(13ft), which is great because it means DP or I can get on and jump around with the kids (DP is 95kg) and it holds his weight plus the boys combined weight of around 40 Kgs fine. It did cost them a bit more (for $500, but was marked down from $699) then the Kmart/BigW ones. It also came with a 5 Year frame structure warranty and 1 year parts replacement warranty. Has been outside since December and gotten lots of play and still looks new.

ETA - If you do buy a Trampoline, Don't leave it last minute lol, I remember my parents rung about 20 different stores (the week of Christmas) and they were all out of stock.

We got ours from toys r us .. I think it's 10ft.. Boys love it. It's out in the weather so will get damaged etc quicker, especially in Melbourne with our awesome wind and rain storms we randomly get.
