Melbourne- Altona North, Birthing Centre?

Hi, I am due in 10 weeks and there is a slight possibility the hubby will be moved for work from SA to melbs before then....

Can anyone advise of Public Hospital or Birthing Centre nearby Altona North/Yarraville?

Have never lived in VIC am a Qld girl so very lost looking at maps of Melbourne lol

There is Werribee mercy hospital not far from there or sunshine... Other than that you would have to go into the city.

If you're in Altona you're probably zoned to Werribee Mercy. If in Yarraville maybe The Royal Womens or Sunshine, although not sure if either have a birthing centre running and you'll need to call them, they'll probably have a better idea??

You'll probably get stuck with Sunshine hospital as the other choice (werribee mercy) is usually fully booked. I tried booking into werribee when we moved here 8 weeks ago, but had no luck.
