OPK lines and timing after a late AF?

Hi All,
My seem a simple q but ill ask anyway...
We decided to use OPks, last month and never got a 2nd line, i think what happened is were were either pregnant and it didnt stick or i Od late, as AF was 9 days late either way i never saw a 2nd OPK line.....
Im now on CD8 and have my very first 2nd line, its lighter than the control one but its def there....
I usually O around CD14/15 and have a 27 day cycle. Im wondering if my body is gearing up for an earlier O as it was possibly late time?
In any case i think we should start DTD just in case this line gets darker, its darker this afternoon than it was this morning but still lighter than the control...
Thinking this will be good progress that we have a line at all!

Yes, DTD!! I got my OPK positive three days before I was expecting it (different CD than last month). Just DTD, it wouldn't hurt to be on the safe side! Enjoy

some woman o at different time each cycle and some months i dont get a positive opk
my opks start of light then you can slowly see the increase as they start to get darker i keep them all together not in the bin so i can see the change from light to dark
they say the surge happens 12 -36 hrs before ovulation is to occur but if you keep a eye on your cm you will see a change to ewcm this is a good time to dtd

I took my first ever OPK test this morning and got the slightest faintest second line, and i think im due to ovulate around this saturday, sunday or monday. I find it exciting getting a second line to come up, even though it's nothing fantastic and isn't a pregnancy test, its still exciting!! all those TTC, good luck ladies xxx

I'd DTD whenever there's anything remotely like a positive!!

OPKs never really worked properly for me (I'd get positives when i wasn't Oing and I got a negative when I O'd and conceived my daughter). I'd be reluctant to trust them fully.
