Melzey Try not to freak out too much and try and stay positive. Will you be transferring 2 or just 1. If you move to July thread, just drop in and let us know how you are going.

Nicole cycle #2 is your lucky cycle.

    A Big to everyone else.

August is not that far away but it does still feel like a life time away. My last fresh cycle was almost 12 months ago, I have a couple of appointment to break up my wait. I have an ENT appointment for my son around June 22 and July 12 is my FS appointment.

    Hi samarasmum ,

I have joined July thread as well, but I would like to come back and see how everyone in here is going. There are some touching stories on this thread and I would really love to see you all catch a break!

I do try to stay really positive about it all. I remember that we are lucky have have IVF as an option and it could be worse. AND worst case scenario for us at this stage is another full stim, but have to admit sometimes I do wonder why do I have to be this person..

I am with Sydney IVF and they will only implant 1 embie back in me because of my age and curcumstances (32, first cycle and implant success) if I was older or diff curcs, etc they would consider two.

I can see some really awesome things about having twins, but for me, unless it happens because my 1 embie splits - I wouldn't chance it. I don't know how well I would cope with two babies at once

Time is flying by, it's over half way through June already! I hope all works out ok for your LO And the ENT has good news. bring on July 12

    Hi Melzey,
You where luck to get your BFP first time with your DD. Hopefully you won’t need to do a full stim cycle.
Yes having twins does seem awesome but I will only be able to transfer one from now on as I don’t think my body will be able to handle anymore. I will find out next month when I speak to my FS.
What protocol will you be using for your FET.

We were really fortunate. We are so blessed with our gorgeous little girl, She is such a joy (most of the time we couldn't believe how lucky we had been. I just kept waiting for something to go wrong and stressing all the time. So - this time (provided all goes to plan) I plan to try and enjoy my pregnancy at least a bit.

We are with Sydney IVF Newcastle. They have asked me to go for BT and scan when AF arrives. As long as all good there, the clinic will monitor my hormone levels and implant at the optimum natural time. So - my protocol seems like just keeping fingers crossed

How about you? I read a few of your posts and it sounds like you have been going through a lot. I'm sorry, it's so unfair.. I have everything crossed that August is your month!!

We have been blessed with a pigeon pair but ever since the birth of DS I wanted a third. We had to wait for DS to be ready. This time it has been the hardest TTC journey.

You’re doing a natural FET. I have only done medicated FET’s. Our last Cancelled FET was HRT. The next one will probably be the same, I will find out next month.

We are with Hollywood Fertility which is also a part of Sydney IVF.

    Hi,

I'm a first timer to the forum and to IVF. I will be starting the pill on the first day of my next period (due in about 2 weeks) then I will have my follicle retrieval in early Aug.

As you can tell I don't know any of the abbreviation's yet, but I'm sure I'll pick them up soon!!

I'm very excited but nervous too as I don't really know what to expect and it doesn't help that I'm needle phobic

I wish everyone good luck and hope to support you through your journeys.

Hey nanny Sarah! - welcome. You will be fine with the needles Hun. It's amazing what you'll go thru for a baby. You will surprise yourself, just when you think you're at the end of your threshold you will push yourself that bit further. I am also needle phobic and have feint veins so taking blood is a mission for me...has been all my life. You learn to cope good luck! Xoxo

Afm (nanny Sarah this stands for as for me)
Going to see fs (fertility specialist) tomorrow to see what protocol I'll be on for august. Guessing ALOT of drugs as per first stim cycle!

Nannysarah You will get to know the abbreviations quickly. If you don’t know just ask. Good luck for EPU (Egg collection) in early Aug.

Nicole I hope you FS appointment goes well tomorrow. Good Luck

Liv Hopefully August will be your luck cycle.

    A Big to everyone else.

AFM I am just counting down the days until I see my FS and trying to keep myself busy.

Hi liv01- welcome! Sounds like you have alot on your plate - medical wise. Best of luck with your cycle, I know it can be scary but you will find the strength.

Afm - appt with fs went well today were are going to do a shorter cycle without synarel and a few other drugs I didn't use in 2009 as to avoid ohss this time. So my cycle should officially start around 10th of august. Wishing we could just get straight into it but also feeling a bit stressed financially so it makes sense to wait until august. Told fs we are doing acupuncture...he said straight away it doesn't work! But then I explained the acupuncturists diagnosis (dh's body temp is too hot) and he was quite interested.....we'll see how it goes...not holding out for any miracles.

    How is everyone else going?
