Nope, i don't consider her a friend now.

I blocked her on facebook and when i was recieving the text msg's i replied to tell her to f off and then i stopped replying. She tried for a while to get me to reply to her with that sort of msg's.

Hubby and i are on the waiting list to see a specialist, hoping we get an appointment soon. We've been TTC for 2 yrs now, and have been on the waiting list for 2 or 3 months now. We're thinking that if we haven't heard anything by the end of the year/early next year we might try and go private....

Ok my lovely PCOS girls I have a question to ask.

If you have PCOS can you get false positives?

Because this morning I got a very faint positive (very faint)

I am not going to get overly excited just yet and I am going to test again on Thursday or Friday to see if the positive gets darker.

I know I wasn't going to test until the 16th (my birthday) but I have been feeling some symptoms that I had with Lachlan and that I would be sneaky and do one.

Kimnus!! eeeeppp!!! crossing my fingers for you!!
I don't know about false positives. I haven't heard it anywhere, and while PCOS screws with our hormone levels, I don't think it can create HCG...
Are you really going to wait til thursday?? Haha I would be POAS every half hour - lol!!
    Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

I also cheated and tested today - BFN
But it was in the afternoon, after drinking lots of water and only 9-11DPO and on a internet cheapy... so....will try to wait til Friday which will be 12- 14DPO to test again - doubt I will make it that long!

Family Planner - I hope your DH makes it back in time for your appointment!

c2p08 - Glad you aren't wasting your time with that so called 'friend' any more. I hope you don't have to wait too long to see a specialist.

YAYYYYY Kim!!!! I've never heard of false positives when it comes to pregnancy tests. We'll have to take it easy at the gym and not over do it. If clomid works fast for me then we can be baby belly buddies as well as gym buddies

Nando- I'm going to be extra positive and say that it's too early and that BFN is going to change into a great big BFP very soon

C2P08- Definitely glad you ditched that crappy friend.

AFM- My DH says that the job in Camden is going well and he is very hopefully of getting back in time for the appointment

I bought some cheap OPKs online as i came off the pill 6 weeks ago and am trying to track my cycles. How many days before ovulation are you meant to get a result? And how often should i be checking - daily, second daily?

Im a complete novice when it comes to all of this (despite being a nurse!) so im hoping you girls can shed some light!

Thanks FP - I hope you're right. Though all symptoms pointing towards AF, they could also be considered early pg - cramping, sore BBs etc.

Blossom- sorry I can't help you, I had this cycle monitored at my FS practise... but i am keen for any feedback because next cycle (2nd on clomid) going to try and monitor myself! Hope someone can help enlighten us both!

Kimnus - you are much stronger than me to get even a faint line and hold out to test again! I really hope this is Lachlan's lil playmate!!!

FP and Kim - hope you get to be belly buddies, and I get to be random remote belly buddy too! In fact I hope this thread dies because we have all got our BFPs!!!!!

    Default its confirmed! IM PREGNANT!

    Hi ladies!
well.. I have been and had the blood tests done, and my first scan. I am pregnant! I am about 5 1/2 weeks. My FS couldn't pick up a heart beat because the fetus was too small.. But I did my at home pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and got the BFP on the day my period was due, the reason I am only 5 1/2 weeks and not 6 weeks is because i ovulated on day 18 of my cycle.. so the fetus has not quite grown as much as we had thought. But who cares, IM PREGNANT!

Kim: the faint positive could be good. It all depends on the quality of the test. I bought a bulk amount of pregnancy tests on ebay (because they were cheap) and one of those gave me a very faint positive. I went out to the chemist and bought a real brand one to double check.. and it gave me a solid positive. Its to do with the amount of chemical in the stick that will pick up the HCG (that chemical is really expensive), the cheaper the test, the less chemical they put into the stick, which means that if you only have a small amount of HCG, it may only just pick it up.... double check with a more expensive brand... and GOOD LUCK!
