Use natural ingredients for cleaning, some vinegar baking soda and bleach will go a long way and they're all very cheap. Think outside the box, and every little thing counts. I never buy magazines and go online to read the news. The librariy is awesome too. Whenever you need something look for the item second hand first.

    Default Ways to cut costs.

For hot days I take 2 bottles. 1 for now, the other has half frozen water, half cold. That way when I want a cold drink after being out for a few hours, I have one!

I buy Christmas lotion and perfume gift sets after Christmas and use them during the year as presents. Usually are half price and look great!

Cleaning out the house regularly. Selling anything unwanted anymore. I don't try to make the money back, I just pop it on eBay and hope for the best!

Going to the smaller out of the way op shops. They usually have better clothes for babies than the big ones everyone knows about.

    Subbing! Fantastic thread!!

Buy and sell toys on Facebook op shop sites for your local area. Great way to de clutter or get cheap toys and clothes.

This may be weird to some people but If you are the only one home during the day with a bub or child in nappies, don't flush the toilet after you have wee'd lol. I'm on tank water and I go a million times a day and this honestly makes so much difference to our water supply so it must save $$$ for people on town water.... and if no one else is there, why not?!

Ummmm if I think of more I'll come back

I'm in the process of stocking up on ingredients so I can cook from scratch. I've started with simple meals like bolognaise and am buying things like flours, herbs and spices over time.

As time goes on i'll get rid of pre-made food as I need time to remember the recipes lol.
