    Default survival tactics, please

i'm sick as anything and DP has just left for work, aside from t.v (which he will get bored of soon enough) what else can i do with a 15 month old to keep him entertained? He is currently playing with a roll of toilet paper and an empty shampoo bottle

A box of tissues - let him go nuts It's a waste, I know, but it used to keep Chloe occupied and quiet for about an hour

I'd rather have a mind opened by wonder than one closed by belief

2 containers and a bag of pegs (roar could spend hours on moving them from one container to the other)

    Feel better SOON!!!!!!!

Sometimes people look into the sun and see nothing but the eternal dark
Instead of attacking them, why not share some of your sun?

    Be KIND today and everyday.

What about chucking a blanket over the end of the lounge and a chair to make a cubby house? My daughter used to love having her own "house" to play in with her toys for a little while.

    Pegs
    Pots and pans, wooden spoons
Water and a paintbrush on the cement or fence
    Food
    Playdough
Finger paints in the shower (easier to clean up the mess!)
    Extra long bathtime
Balloon tennis - you hit they chase
Toddler games on smart phone if you have one

Do you have sticker books? They always occupy lots of time here.
    Puzzles?
Pray that he has a four hour sleep? lol

You poor thing, I hope that you survive the day in one piece.

thanks guys he's just gone to sleep so i will pray for that 4 hour nap! I opened every cupboard in the house that didn't have anything breakable/dangerous in it and just let him go for it. Wasn't too bad. Got through without the tv so i still have that trick up my sleeve for the pm now i'm taking myself off to bed to read my book
