Default What did you get for you're 21st?

Hey guys, its my bestfriends 21st coming up at the beginning of june. We are roadtripping it and spending the weekend on the gold coast with another best friend. But present wise, i have no idea what to get her? We've been stuck at the hip all our lives but it still doesnt make it any easier. Shes hinted that she doesnt want jewerelly, one of those cups or anything that says 21, and i dont want to get her anything too material, like clothes etc. I want something sentimental, shes also said she wants it to be so awesome she cries, lol added pressure! Any ideas would be great! At the moment i have borrowed a desktop computer off a friend which contains lots of old photos from our teens, im hoping to get into it and use the photos and make something pretty. Only trouble is the desktop computer has no mouse or keyboard so i cant use it, if anyones in the Newcastle area and would let me borrow there mouse/keyboard for ten minutes it would be appreciated too!

    Thank you

While your at the gold coast why don't you do something like swim with the dolphins at seaworld or the tiger walk at dreamworld. Great experience to share and an awesome photo to keep.
My favorite gift ever was a pendant, but it's a very unique one. It's a silver oval that has a photo of our kids etched on to it. It's just awesome I have worn it every day for the past 4 years. And I did cry when I opened it!
Other than that what about doing a scrap book. You could get the photos printed and make a really funky album. Include stories about times you've shared, the things you love about her etc.

    Drunk.
Sometimes I'd buy Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it fed me more.

    I got a 21st necklace

Maybe you could put an old photo of you both in a really nice photo frame or an album filled with memories, you can get those signature photos frames you could put a photo of her either when she was young or now and all the guest can sign on arrival or something along those ideas

    Lol what? drunk?

I do love the scrap booking idea! Just getting these photos/enough time is prooving hard! i did the disc thing on our 16th i think, that was very very good. We are planning on the theme park thing i could suprise her with a paid swim with the dolphins as a part of a present.

Thanks for the ideas guys, keep them coming!

You might want to look into booking it then Hun. My bestie and I missed out on doing the dolphin swim bc they were booked out.

I got the most awesomest present from my dad it was a diamond tennis bracelet with over 8 carats of diamonds in it but it also has sentimental value as he wanted me to wear it on my wedding day

For my 17th birthday my closest friends gave me a framed picture of me with Polaroid pictures of them around the outside of it. Well they weren't Polaroid photos but like passport photos from those automatic booths. On each picture was a friend holding a sign and the overall message was Happy Birthday Cassie remember we will always love you. It still to this day is my favorite thing ever it was an amazing present and I cried and it made me feel so special that they had gone to such an effort for me and put alot of thought into it.

I made my best friend a scrap book with about 40 pages in it all individually decorated with photos and memories etc from 20 of our friends. I sent the pages to people, they did it and sent it back and I put it all together. It was amazing

I got a book similar with messages all in it, and DP hired out a club and we had a party there.
