Mitcham Private OBs

Hi All,

I'm really excited because my hubby and I are going to TTC soon. We've decided to go to Mitcham Private, but as you can see from my user name, I'm a complete n00b, and also the first in our group of friends to start trying for a baby.

I would appreciate anyone PMing me about experiences negative, positive, indifferent for OBs. In particular, I want to know who you think who on the current list (http://mitchamprivate.com.au/Materni...ists-list.aspx) are the most and least intervention-happy.

Any other thoughts that I've forgotten to ask about would be great too

I didn't have my babies at Mitcham Private, but just wanted to ask why you've chosen the hospital before you've picked your Obstetrician? I think you would find that lots of ladies would suggest that it's more important to select a fantastic Obstetrician and then choose a hospital from the ones that s/he delivers at. Mitcham Private may be great, but you may find that you don't like any of the Obs who deliver there. Just my opinion though.

I have no advice on Mitcham Private Hospital, but just wanted to answer your question about the PM's.

You need a higher post cost (it's either 5 or 10, I can't remember) before others will get the option to PM you.

You can access them in the top right hand corner of your screen.

it says something like: welcome, N00B, you have X Private Messages.
