    Hello Girlies!

SugerBerry - Yeh its a huge decision but i reckon ive been thinking about iton & off for a couple of years but now have finally decided to do something about it - im excited but trying to be realistic too. I think i am veering towards going with Monash IVF cos it would be easier to me to get to appointments than travel into the city etc. Yeah i think i will decide pretty soon where to go and get the referral from my GP (im booked into my gp on 5th jan). Thats great you are feeling lots of movement

Wishmeluck - i will keep my fingers & toes crossed for you for baby thats great that baby has a nice strong heart beat

Leannep - hahaha yeh i would wanna find the sex of baby soon as i too have friends who love to go shopping so the ones i have told what i wanna do, say they cant wait to take me out and shop, shop, shop ! lol lol lol

Baby please - to you feeling low...yeh im surrounded by friends who are pregnant or just had a baby...i am over the moon for them but im soo jealous but feel sooooo guilty of being a bit jealous, but our day will come soon !! I love your request to Santa! its a brilliant request .

For now i am just trying to suss out what clinic to go to...i feel excited tho that i am finally doing something about it lol lol hehehe

Wish....great news on the scan..woohoo..at least bub is growing steadily and no problems so far. They will get a really good look at nuchal as everything has formed and it will look like a baby instead of a tadpole.. Not long to wait.

Baby please....yes be careful with donor friends...all sorts of legalities..like child custody as biological father...you need very good legal documents for sole custody with donors...otherwise they can contest parenting.
    Love your Christmas wish .

Sugar....did you pass the gtt? I cant recall.....

I made it to nz..dd was fantastic and no tears and was a good traveller. Did a bit of shopping today and went to the supermarket and bought a lot of treats that I miss..lol... Ate a bag of twisties. Tonight..they are different to aus ones and I am addicted to them..mmmmm planning to do Santa photo tomorrow.. And go out for lunch...
I know what you all feel about the pregnancy things...my girlfriend is pregnant with number 2 we started at the same time..her naturally and me ivf...and now she is 3 months pregnant..hard especially after a failed fet....
Will catch up more later..baby gone exploring must go and rescue her..lol

Thanks Micca. I'm still incredibly anxious. I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones that will be fine and bub will just measure small all along. I've attached my latest scan photo. The detail is amazing. Glad u arrived in NZ safely and Arabella was a star traveling companion ImageUploadedByBub Hub1324459229.222184.jpg

Wish - Im sure bubs will be ok hun, sounds like its just a cute little bubba to me. Great photo, so cute . Great to hear the heartbeat is strong, thats always a good sign.

WannaBe - sounds like your almost on your way hun, so exciting!

Micca - yes, I passed the GTT and the Graves Disease came back negative too. Glad you both arrived safely, hope A enjoys her photo with Santa and have fun shopping .

AFM - as mentioned to Micca, I finally got a call back from the hospital yesterday, passed the GTT and no Graves Disease, but still a Thyroid imbalance which they will continue to monitor. I told them of my stress about the funal measurement and the amount of fluid around the baby and the OB said that I shouldnt worry, all my tests and scans have come back fine, but if my fundal measurement is still ahead at my next appt (10 January) then they will probably do a scan then to check the amount of fluid around bubs and look at a few other things too. So Im trying not to worry, impossible sometimes though......

Wish"......great photo..hmmm might have to nickname the bean stumpy lol... I'd say it all looks good so far. It you are worried after the nuchal scanthen I would consider an amniocentesis ..I had one and it was pretty simple and took 10mins..and gave me a lot of reassurance..of course the icings also finding out the gender too...but I felt so good knowing that chromosomal hit was all good.

Sugar..great news on passing the test.....I know you are worried about developmental causes of hydroamnios but hang in there a lot of healthy pregnancies have this. Maybe bibs is going to bean olympic swimmer with the big swimming pool..lol.

Had a nice day today..Santa photos, shopping and lunch out.
Bought way too much stuff for dd but managed some work clothes for me...nice having the time to shop with out a baby as my mother looked after her.
Planning a walk tomorrow.am going to try and drop a kilo or 2. Anyway off to bed...

Micca - Enjoy NZ, sounds wonderful with your family and glad DD is behaving, can you bring me back a nice dark Kiwi pls? i lurve them lol

Sugar - 23 wks almost woo hoo, your doing very well and an inspiration to us stuck behind still. so glad all your tests come back fantastic. When i was preggo with DS was the worst 9mths worry of my life, i bleed, and the tests, just worry worry worry, ruins the enjoyment of it.

Wish - 11 wks, so happy for you, almost 12 wks soon, yah. maybe ur small bubs will make it easy on you to come out and not ruin you too much :-) love the photo, so defined little hands and feet.

Leeane- when are you looking at cycling again ? and will it be a fresh one? i cant remember if u have any frozen ?

Wannabe- We are lucky with city Fert here that we can import from o/s althou I seem to be running out of donors, cost for first ivf is $6400 you end up out of pocket only $1880.

If you add other things it gets the costs up there and i always pay for the embryo glue icsi etc, are other girls doing icsi and glue...??

a second cycle in the year starting from Jan gets cheaper, hoping u wont need that thou!

Sperm over here is $800 each time :-(

A full cycle for me with all the bells and whistles such as blastocyct, glue, donor sperm, i end up paying around $3800 out of pocket. ouch

At some point i probably need to stop doing these & give up and take my DS on a holiday with that money i have wasted
