    Hi girls

Thanks for all your lucky vibes and best wishes. I got 2 eggs which was kind of disappointing as I had 6 follicles Friday but apparently some were empty - they saw 5 follicles on scan today. Still, one grade one and one grade two so fingers crossed they'll both fertilize overnight. With only two eggs they won't do day 5 so 3 day transfer if they still look good at that stage. I'm praying really hard!!!

Hi all, yes wish, I think I am excited. I think I will feel better when I have this one over. Its the unknown. Will they be judgmental? Will they be encouraging? What kind of odds will they tell me? etc etc. I thought I had done some research until I got on here and realise I know nothing. SO I guess I will have a few questions to ask. Then its just when can we get started. Oh the ignorance is bliss! I guess there may be a long road to go. So, wish goes for her transfer and I go for my talk of doom. Friday will be quite the day. Best wishes to all who are on the waiting game. Funny how 2 weeks streaks by when its your great Aunt Agnes' birthday bash your dreading, but goes so slow when its 2 lines on a wee stick, you want. After many months on clomid a year ago, I have found two weeks to be a very very long.

Leannep - how are you going hun? I've been wondering how you're managing the 2WW. I'd be stark raving mad by now. Are you going to POAS?! Not long to go now!! I'm so excited for you and have been keeping you in my thoughts

Sugarberry - all good at your end? I know this is the sticky one for you!

Ellenvp5 - we all have lots of questions when we start. Some of them can be answered by the many knowledgable ladies on this forum, others you just need to experience yourself going through it. There are so many things we think about, but some of the things that happen about the "process" of IVF you don't think to ask. But you will be absolutely fine. All of us on this thread are going through our first or second cycles so ask away and if we can answer your questions we will. As to the judgment part, I think you'll be surprised. I have had absolutely no-one at my clinic give me even a hint of being judgmental. I think because it is really common now for women our age to go it alone, that they don't even bat an eye lid. You are going to great. Write all the questions down that you want to ask if that will make you feel more comfortable. Re the stats for our age, well of course they'll tell you it will be difficult for you to get pregnant. Statistically, we all know this. But it's not impossible! Otherwise we wouldn't be here. I'm sure you'll feel much more comfortable after you've been for your appt and know a little more. After that, you can go crazy like the rest of us
