blue.. yay for a good wack of gonal F... I always took about 10 days of stims until trigger... seems about average. Good luck on this cycle. your bloods sound like they are in the right place as well...
The insurance assessor is due monday... he had his car break down as the the fuel at the local servo had been contaminated with water... so thats the reason he did not make it.. mind you a phone call would have been nice...

Sugar.... enjoy this special time and all the gifts... one thing I meant to do was dress bubs up in all the outfits and send photos to the people whom gave them... of course baby brain had no idea who gave them... my advice is to take a photo and the card so you remember... and do any thank you cards early... I never got around to my thankyou ones post birth at all... but most people are understanding... and I must say it really is enjoyable buying baby gifts..
Im glad that everything is going well with bub and your thyroid... gosh it is really close now...
I had no problem with girls names, and i have had a boys name I love since I was little...

well productive morning at home.... stewing apples from my tree, rubarb from the garden and I managed some sewing... next step is an afternoon nap... and sewing part 2... all chores I would not be doing easily without my mother... still got some household fixes to do as well...
hope you all have a great weekend

Micca - did you say you were taking saizen? have you had it before and did it make a difference do you think? I really don't think I could afford it for my cycle but if I knew it definately makes a difference I might somehow come up with the money...beg, borrow, steel..just kidding. A friend of mine is on the fence about it and not sure whether to use it. I've read some good things about it but something that did alarm me in my case was it can induce insulin resistance which I already have and that it should be used with caution with diabetics. I don't think I'd risk it causing further problems with me. My clinic have only just begun to use it and I don't think they know much about it. It's a hard one.

BLue - good luck with this cycle

kismet... I used saizen for DDs cycle... it is supposed to improve egg quality and help with cell divison. It works best before you start stimming so I have been told. My cycle with DD I had 5 saizen... every second day. This cycle the FS has me start it 2 days prior to stimming and then every day until trigger...
It can certainly affect your sugars... but if you decided to use it and on a budget I would try say the 5 shot regieme... at least then you have it in your system... and you know you have done everything... it is pricey.. my last clinic charged $165 and my new clinic only $135 so at least that helps.

Blue - great that your going again, scan on Wednesday only shows good things. Enjoy the dancing, sounds like fun.

Micca - sounds like you have a productive Saturday . I have already got some thank you cards to send out, they are Peter Rabbit ones and so cute, just need a nice photo of bubs to pop in. I have been keeping a list of the 'gift givers' so Im trying to keep track of who has given me what, hope I dont forget someone.

AFM - last week of work, cant wait till Thursday - planning on finishing that day instead of Friday, yay!

Hello to all you lovely ladies out there I hope that you are all well and having a good week!!!

Just wanted to let all of you who were keeping their for me and my scan today know how I got on!
I'm in a state of shock I think maybe too!! My scan this morning had better results than I think I thought possible, particularly after having cancelled my last two cycles due to no follies... This morning there is a 13mm follie on each ovary, yes.... that's right each ovary!!!!!! OMG!!!!

A little concerned that my lining is 16mm thick after 10days of AF but my FS said that she would be more concerned if lining was only 3mm.

So two more days of 450iu Gonal-f (Thursday and Friday) then another scan on Saturday morning and if those follies are looking a good size then my FS is planning on doing the trigger and IUI there and then!!! She is happy to do it that was as she say's I have good sperm sitting there waiting for me.

Have had bloods today to make sure that everything is going well there. Was told that if I don't hear from FS then everything is okay.

So after keeping your fingers crossed for me and my scan today could you please keep them crossed for me for Saturday as well. Maybe this is my month... my family could certainly do with some good news at the moment!!

Sorry about the me post but just had to let you know... you all have been fantastic support for me and feel like my extended family!!! So THANKS for the support so far on this interesting journey that we are all on!

Blue - good luck! I have everything crossed for you

Nothing to report, just not liking how I'm feeling atm since starting my pill popping. Metformin is making me feel vile, I can't get up to the correct dose yet. Never had this issue last time.

Blue -woohoo great follicles so happy for you!! I had a couple of cycles cancelled and there is nothing like seeing your body is finally doing what it's supposed to. My fingers are crossed and I have a very good feeling about this....

Kismet - takes at least 4 weeks to get the correct levels of metformin into your system and my specialist said for some it does nothing but still takes four weeks to know either way hence why I went onto insulin straight away. Hope you are feeling better soon.

AFM - has another ultrasound today and my fluid levels are looking great!!!! So stoked was getting a bit stressed for a moment there lol. My diabetes is steady during the day so no day-time insulin yet but my early mornings are still a bit high so have had to up my overnight insulin to 14 units.

Other than that everything is going along great I feel good so long as I don't over do it and my little princess is kicking up a storm getting stronger every day!!! Only about 7 weeks more work to go cant wait til im a sahm again I'm very happy with my life at the moment.

Ladies - hope you are all doing well I look forward to everyone's update

blue.......... fantastic news with 2 follies..woohoo.... everything sounds great... lets hope that it is all systems go... are you not having a trigger injection??

nelle... great news that your scan is all great..woohoo... and love the kicks...so miss that. I used to love tickling DDs foot. Lets hope that you get your night time levels right...sounds like you are nearly there,

Kismet... yay for starting the metformin... yep its definately a go slow thing... those abdo pains and diarrhoea it can cause really suck. I am having the same problem with the pill....so not liking it at all...and Ive still got 2 weeks to go.

Sugar... tomorrow is your last day of work..woohoo... what a great feeling no work for the next few months.... My advice is to also lodge your details with family assistance online for the paid parental leave or baby bonus..which ever one... then it is all done and can start ASAP post birth... it takes quite a while to do.

    hi to EOE

well just plodding along... work work acupuncture..pop vitamins..work sleep ...blah blah... assessor arrived on monday for the insurance on the flooding so we shall see ..still waiting to hear from NRMA... start lucrin in one week..so at least that will be something... planning to do nothing this weekend... just bunker in with the cold weather and watch a few DVDs...
Anyway have a good night everyone..
