    Default Studying Business Admin?

    Anyone studying Business Admin?

    Is it a hard course?
& who are you doing it with?
I'm thinking OTEN. Since they are the cheapest but I hate the whole CD thing

I did Business Admin in 2009, it was a traineeship through Tafe. For me it was pretty easy,

    Did you benefit in it?
Making sure it's not a nothing course.
I used to do office admin so thinking be good to brush up on skills even though I won't be back at work for another year

I did a Cert III a few years ago and am currently doing a Cert IV. I'm really enjoying brushing up on my skills and the most recent release of MS Office. One thing I've really noticed in our area is that Cert III is no longer the standard for admin jobs and most employers are looking for a Cert IV minimum so I def think it's worth doing. Good Luck!

Try and get the Cert IV definitely, I know my work wants that or higher for Admin roles now. With OTEN, you pay a fee BUT then you have to buy your text books and resources separate.

Try Seek.com.au, they can help sort it all out for you Im currently studying a Diploma of Accounting through OTEN which was set up by Seek

    I started accounting with OTEN
I'm not a fan of their system but they are the cheapest

Seek organises everything for you, the fees, the course materials and enrolments With OTEN you have to source your own textbooks etc but with Seek, everything is included in the quoted course price, with no hunting materials and all delivered to you It's through OTEN but easier to enrol through Seek

I have found OTEN teachers frustrating in the Accounting Department lol So if I want anything done, I call Seek with it comes to the course lol!!

(P.s I think you recently joined a Mum's group on facebook?) Will add you on there

I'm doing my Cert IV as an external student through TAFE so it's really by mail rather than online I guess. I'm loving the seek idea though and will definitley look into that for further study! Wish I'd known about it beforehand lol
