I also was in the same position as you. My Ob wanted to do a cesarean but I was adamant I wanted a natural birth. He referred me to another Ob to perform and it was successful. It was the most painful experience in my life. Afterwards I was so concerned that it may have harmed the baby because of the amount of pressure he was putting on my uterus. If I had known how painful it was going to be I would have never done it. I was bruised and sore for days. I went into natural labour 4 days later but unfortunately after labouring for 24 hours I had to have an emergency cesarean. If I was in the same position again I would just go ahead with the cesarean.

Thank you rosekathleen for the post. Helped me make the decision. My baby was breech from week 30, and they insisted on ecv at week 38. I refused and went for c-section. They safely got the baby out with the cord tightly wrapped around her neck twice. This was the reason for not turning.
