What age first tooth

Another poll about development, but since its about teeth I thought I would put it here

My DS2 is 8 months old and does not have any teeth, DS1 got his first at 4 months and they came in pretty regulary after that.

A friends bub is 1 and still has no teeth?? Is there any age for concern??

I have made multichoice for all those with more then 1 child

dont worry.. they say the longer they take to come, the better they are! my brothers boys both got teeth about 13months old, so, dont worry, they will come when they are ready!

My DD got her first tooth at 6� months and now DS got hi first at 15 weeks. He's now 11� months and has 12 with another 4 coming through right now. All kids are different!

the later the better.

my little one got her first 2 (within 3 days of each other) when she was 10 1/2 months old. and she got the 2 top ones first. now at 13 months she has the 2 on the bottom too and is currently cutting the next 2 on the top. she seems to like doing the opposite to the norm.

my dd got her first tooth at about 6 months she is now 17 months old and has 12 teeth and cutting 4 more.

Thanks for starting this thread up. DD is 18 weeks old now so i was wondering on the same line that on an average when do the babies start teething. Thanks again.
