    plus i went to 17 myself lol

    Grammar schools are usually (always?) non religious.

    I always assumed Grammar schools stemmed from Anglican church. But that is based on the Grammar school in my home town I guess.

    I know nothing about public schools but if they all get the same amount of funding why are some public school facilities so much better? Some pp mentioned public schools with computers and music classes yet the ones around us are all 80 year old schools with really bad facilities, no computers in class etc ( we sponsored one of them so they could buy white boards!) is it really just p and c involvement or do some schools get more?
