Question How To Conceive A Girl???

    Hi!

We have a gorgeous DS born 22/08/09, I am still breastfeeding and co sleeping, but we're ready for another baby!

I desperately want a girl because I always wanted 3 babies but now I only want 2! so I need a Girl! dont get me wrong I would still love another boy but if i can i want a girl.

so Ive been reading up on how to conceive a girl, the shettles method seems to be a popular one, but I want to know if anyone has tried it and has it worked?

and also the O+12? anyone used this?

Im prepared to fully change my diet and take supplements but there is so much contradictory evidence on the net and not sure what to believe,

or have you done something completeley different and got a girl?

From what I have read i will be doing:
DTD the day AF ceases and each day after until 2 days before ovulation, no orgasm for me and also changing to a high acidic diet.

Has anyone tried these? and got a girl, or boy?

    please share your experiences

Sorry - I don't have the answer for you!
But have you seen the show on Foxtel called "6 boys and wanting a girl"?
They followed 3 or 4 women on their journies of TTC a girl and each did it a different way ie. diet, embryo selection etc. All the women had 3+ boys already in the family but only one of the women was successful and she got twin girls out of it but I don't remember which method she was using. The others got another boy.

I believe things light tight underpants for your DH is meant to help, alkaline diets, and having sex 2 days before ovulation.

Hope you get your girl, gender disappointment is really hard

My friend has 4 children. Two boys first then two girls. She purposely tried to have the girls, the boys just happened. All she did was timed s3x prior to ovulation. No special diets or anything else. Just relied on the fact that the female sperm last longer. The most important thing is you just need to be spot on with your ovulation

Correct me if im wrong but im farely sure it has something to do with the TIME of DTD.
The 'boy' sperm the strong swimmers but only last a couple of days. The 'girl' sperm are slower swimmers but last longer.

So in theory, you want to have sex when the egg is still in the top of your tubes...so by the time the egg is in the right spot for fertilisation all the 'boy' sperm are dead and youve only got 'girl' sperm left. (not exactly sure WHERE the egg gets fertilised)

I cant really tell you if this happened with us but im farely sure it happened like this when we conceived our boy. And maybe our girl too, but tis ard to say cos we werent realy trying with either of them.

Sorry if this doesnt make sense, its hard to put it into words hehehehe!!
