That happened to me back in my younger days - I don't see why they can't just carry change. Would make life so much easier!

Thats horrible I always try to have change but sometimes I just don't and thankfully no one has ever been rude about it. It's not like you didn't have the money, how is it your fault if they can't give change (not saying it is the drivers fault either but sheesh better system all round needed perhaps?!)

Certainly no need to be rude and tell you your not able to catch the bus, I can only imagine what that would mean for me... 38 weeks pregnant and having to drag a 4 and a 5 yo across town

Hmm i can see both sides. The driver could have been nicer but he also cant sit there organizing peoples change when the rest of the people on the bus have places to be. At least someone helped you out and you werent left stranded on the side of the road. You helped someone do a good deed haha

What an idiot. You offered legal tender, it's not your problem if he can't offer change. If you had offered a $50 or $100 I would be a little more understanding towards the driver but FFS it was a $20!!

That was quite rude of him. But at the same time if you know you need correct change wouldnt it be easier for everyone to have the correct change instead of him having to take less or sit and work out loads of change? JMO

of course it would be easier, but for him to rufuse to let them on, is a bit wrong...
wonder if he would have done the same at night?

$20 is not too big of a note... That's just rude. Even if he didn't have the change he didn't have to be a prick about it.
