I was ready to throw it out the door a few times but once you get into a routine its much easier.
Hahahahaha oh dear - so maybe it stings just that tiny bit much more because it's that time of month..?

It feels like tiny little razors scraping along my skin haha

Did you lather up your legs with lots of shaving cream before hand? I find I get a much better shave, much smoother legs. I think the cream helps the hair stand up! With regards to the epilator...I've had a couple of them, the original emjoy gently (wasnt gentle lol) and the braun silk epil. I havent used my silk epil in years but I found that if I did it regularly my pain threshold increased. It helped to have shorter hairs too. The red bumps do go away eventually. Maybe moisturise afterwards with something with maybe aloe vera in it, preferably not alcoholic based. Ive only ever used it on the legs, way too painful anywhere else!! Ive tried waxing but only a brazillian...painful the first time but Im sure Id feel different if I did it again.

    *cringes*

I had an Epilator...and an Emjoi Gently. There was nothing gentle about it!!!! I find having my legs waxed is far, far less painful, much quicker and a lot easier since it's somebody else inflicting the pain rather than myself. I've found my hair grew back quite quickly when using those torture tools (but it doesn't with waxing) so don't know what the go is there.

I was glad I sold both for more than I paid for them on ebay

http://www.bestsellingreviews.com/Pe...Care/Epilator/ I still use my old epilator every now and then when I don't have time and I'm not annoyed by the pain.

Bought an epilator years ago. Only used it once. It's just too darn painful!!

Apart from not doing it straight before or after your period, holding the skin taut and not letting the hair grow too long, take a panadol beforehand. Apparently, it's supposed to ease the pain. I've never done that, though.
