I hope your Dr lets you transfer both. The chances are a little better of one sticking apparently. I am so glad that you have decided to keep going. I know how you feel about getting to the 50 mark. It is a little worrying with the older you get. Fingers crossed these will stick for you. I love Tasmania it is such a laid back place. We have friends who moved there a couple of years ago and they love it. We are thinking of getting property in Goulburn area or Putty area in about 2 years too.
I still am waiting to hear from the counsellor about embryo donation as the FN went on holidays and didn;t speak with her. So new FN spoke to me yesterday and she was letting counsellor know. I sometimes wonder if they do not have enough nurses as they seem to forget things a lot.
I am also trying to convince Steve (53) about egg donor again. Unfortunately at the moment he doesn't want to go through the needle thing again.
Anyway I will keep in touch via email.
    Best of luck xxxx
    Friends always
    Michelle

It helps to have a plan for the future, one that can be with or without children. We have decided that this next attempt will be our last. Saddly the FS will not allow me to have both embryos transfered and we can not afford to look for another embryo donor and go through all of the red tape we have been through already. We will have the hope of maybe an unknown donor on the waiting list but, that is just a distant hope against all odds. We are hopeing to be able to do our final FET in November untill then, it is all systems go on the fittness and diet front. I have my excersise bike already and we pick up an abb circle pro on Saturday morning.
We have been looking at the North West part of Tassie, it depend's where the Asphalt plant's are lol Rob isnt into a long drive to work at 3am.
I will keep in touch via email and you never know it looks like we could be close enough to have a coffee together one day, even if I do only drink tea

Finaly have my phone consult date, 15th October. We will see what they have to say about my requests to try a couple of things to help implantation. At the moment all they do is throw hormones at me. My GP is not impressed with my FS as he cant understand why they wont allow me to have both my remaining embryos transfered, I told him they said it is due to my medical history, his response was " What medical history and why do the first transfer" so we wil again demand both embryos and ask for a written explanation as to exactly why they will not transfer two. I am back on the edication for Anxiety and depresion. I have also started to go swimming again, along with the change of diet I am hopeing to loose quite a few Kilos before our next attempt. Hope all is well with everyone and that a few dreams are comeing true.

Rob and I are thinking about trying to find a new donor.
Out of the 10 blasts my donor started with only the fresh transfer resulted in a BFP and a viable pregnancy. She then did 5 more transfers all BFN's I have done 2 transfers and both BFN's. So we are both thinking that maybe there is somthing wrong with these embryos.

    What are your thoughts?

Should we wait and see if a donor comes up on the waiting list?

Should we try to find a new donor?

We are both very afraid that our next attempt wil fail as we both feel that these embryos we have are just not good enough, that is why we are wondering if we should try to find a new embryo.
    What do you think?

Default Hope to be bless with an Embryo that we will love.

    Hi heather.

My sister is my donor, we transferred 5 blasts, 4 bfn and last one BFP. You just never know which one is going to stick. I don't think anyone has all embys stick so if you have one left I
Would be putting it back for sure. You just never know.

    Good luck

    Hi Heather

I am new to this site and new to IVF so, unfortunately, I can't advise you about what you should do next.

I can, however, offer you my support and best wishes that you have a baby. I have read through this thread and you reveal what a lovely woman you are. You are so full of love and encouragement for other members. And I do believe in guardian angels, who have taken your wish and sprinkled it throughout the universe. I do believe you will have (at least) one beautiful baby to hold in your arms, and heart, and raise it to be as loving a person as yourself. And I hope I am still posting here when your baby wish comes true.

    Love and light,

    Jay

    Hi Heather

Sorry I have been MIA. Still trying to get my head around BFN.

How are you going? I have to agree with Crescent and Lilypily. Definitely use them both. You never know one of them or both could be the one that sticks.
In hindsight I wish I only transferred one this last time cause then I would still have one left.
Let me know how you go with your consult, I know it seems like a long way off. For some reason I thought it was this month. I am definitely having a blonde month.

AFM I seen FS today and she is sending me for all these bt's and us's and god knows what else. one of the test is not on medicare so God knows how much that is. She was talking $1000. It's a thrombophilia panel (to do with blood clotting). I am so afraid that I will never have a baby that I will spend all my money on trying to find out. Anyway I'm so over everything at the moment I just wanna curl up in a corner and cry all day. Sorry for being on a downer at the moment, hopefully I will be better next time we chat.

Ooh by the way did you see Today tonight last night. There was a couple on there tha have been trying for 20 years to have a baby and they finally have a beautiful girl. She is 53 and he is 58 I think. So there is hope for us yet

    Your friend
    Michelle xxx

Hi Michelle, I had to have a test for Factor V Ledien, it is a blood clotting problem but, I didnt pay for that test, I also had 30 other BTs done at the bleed specialist and didnt pay for them either so, when you go to have them all done as them to check exactly wich ones you are paying for and wich ones are covered by Medicare.
I missed the programe but, I read the story on the intermett, was very moveing and gave me a little ray of hope. My GP has ordered a load of BT's that I had done yesturday, get those results next week. I been working out and trying to lose weight and get fit. Still trying to work out why the FS recons I am in menopaus as my period is still arriveing on time with a normal flow, and it still bloomin painful. Not sure wich end hurts the most, I had bad toothach, a headace and bad period pains off to the dentist for me will be haveing two teeth removed, that will take my mind off everything else for a while .
Have a good weekend and I hope these tests they are doing will help find some anwers for both of us.
