Hi, wow you are well on your way, I am still waiting AF to arrive so I can have a couple of bloods and a scan done on certain days to assess my hormones then once they have those I think we will be doing a medicated cycle so I wont be far behind you hopefully.
A friend of mine for many years back in the UK did something special on the aniversary of her little one's passing. She would write a few words onto a piece of paper to her little girl then, she would fold it up into a paper boat and set it afloat on the river near her house, then she would light a candle. She would buy a special candle every year. remember you are stil allowed to cry and grieve also make the most of any counceling available to you, it will help. I know how hard it can be to go through another pregancy after a loss, take every off of help you can, and you can PM me any time at all.
So exciting though isnt it, the emotional roller coaster is getting faster with more twists and turns but, we can do this and we will do this.

    Hi Heather,

Im plugging away.... friday cant get here quick enough as you would understand I just need a DATE..........

For Archie's anniversary I always cook a cake,we sing happy birthday to him and then we release yellow ballons in his memory.we also burn a rememberance candle all day. This year tho we are going to put a note inside the ballons and ask whoever finds them to call us....A friend of ours did this for her grandaughter and she got a call from some people 4 hours away from where we live...
I think im just extra sooky/emotional because DH is working away from me 3 days a week and im used to us working together as we have done since losing Archie we have been inseparable
will let you know how friday goes....

    cheers

everything is crossed for you. I had my first lot of blood tests today for my assessment, it has been a long time to get this far for me.
Your hubby working away is hard to start with, you tend to think about htings diferently when you are alone, it is strange the things that come into your head. I was the same when Rob whent away for a darts tornament not long ago, it wasnt very nice but, I got through it. Friday will be a big bundle of nerves and anxiety for you but, I am sure everything will be fine and you know where I am.
this xmas we will be bakeing buns in our ovens and next year we will be holding our little bundles.
stay positive and believe and your dreams will come true.
I will be looking for you msg on Friday

hey heather im cheating with a cut and paste as no time to type with my 1 finger.......I had scan was yesterday from here I have BT on 19th and if levels good I wait patiently for AF and transfer will be 16 days after that if all goes according to plan. looks like more than likely early October it will be my DS 3 year anniversary on oct 14th maybe that will be my lucky day from my little guardian angel.

Yesterday was a tad exciting we recieved our donor profile its so surreal to read really they truely do sound like such giving loving people, they have expressed their wish to meet us one day which is exciting and scary. We are already sooooooooo greatfull to these lovely people it makes my eyes well up just thinking about their generosity. As I read details about them I pictured a child with their features ect it truely was an amazing moment kinda like what an adoption would start out like.... on the funny side he is 180cm tall DH and I are both only 151 and 157cm tall

Look forward to sharing this journey with you I have every intention of having an excuse to over indulge at the xmas table this year

keep me informed as to how your cycle is progressing.

Hi, you are sounding so much happier and so much more positive, it is lovely to see that in your words.
It is funny you should mention hight, Rob is a lanky bean pole at well over 6ft and me, I am a mere normal 5ft something so when my ED's DH hubby asked how tall I was I asked why, thier little girl isnt so little, she is the tallest in her class and the doctors have predicted she will most likely be over 6ft tall and they wanted to know how I would feel if I had a child so tall. I said that it would fit in well with Rob withhim being so tall. It seems they looked at the photos of Rob and I and as I look like a smurf next to him they thought I was maybe 4 ft tall lmao. I have a known donor, I am very lucky realy. I get on so well with them and her mum as well, we have all just clicked and we keep finding things we have in common. We look nothing alike but, then again, I look nothing like my family so that istnt important to me, as long as the skin tone is near enough, if you understand what I mean.
I had my scan yesturday, I have a couple of overies and a uterus so thats a good start lol. I hope to hear back on those results next week. Orriginaly I was looking at the 30th for my next blood test but, the nurse told me I can bring that forwards a few days to the 26th sept, then once they have those results I go in for another appointment to see what is next.
It is so much better once we are actuly doing something, makes it so much more possible that we will have that baby we so long to hold.
I have a couple of very dear and special friends who are also on this journey, they are useing donor eggs and they are both now happily pregnant and another woman I know from another forum is happily pregnant via donor embryo after many many years of trying, the blastocyst embryos have finaly achieved what nothing else could. So we will achieve our hopes and dreams.
Xmas will be so much nicer if we are bakeing our own buns, it is a good exscuse to over indulge in the things we like and the perfect exscuse to refuse that not so nice thing that some relative always makes you eat that you realy only eat to be polite lmao "no thank you since I been pregnant I cant stand that stuff it just makes me hurl" oh I how I cant wait to use that one
Take care and keep me posted

Hi Heather you are so funny u too luv2bamumagain I picture 3 fat ladies acting like little kids chucking tantrums about being force fed and then having to wash up
I do feel much better the closer I get the more excited (and scared) it feels so close!! after my last cycle in May I thought it was all over red rover until the clinic called me a few days later and offered these embryos(I feel like we won lotto when I read how long it takes others to receive embies, would like to believe its ment to be if ya know what I mean)Our doner is not known to us and they had no fertility issues the only reason they did ivf was due to breast cancer appart from the height we all have similar feature however they sound very smart focused and driven! good genes for a baby
glad to see you have 2 ovaries and 1 uterus its exciting hearing about your friends it gives me hope that one day I will use that cot we built and use the thousands of $ worth of clothes nappies and creams that i had to put in storage.
I have my bt on 19th will keep you updated.

I cant wait. I havent looked at baby stuff for a long time, I make a few baby layetts then I rip them out lol maybe it is time to make them and keep them, I have a few friends who are pregnant so I can give them all something special for gifts, as long as they dont mind blue I tend to avoid pink, I have always said you can put a girl in blue but, it just aint right to put a boy in pink lol
