Smile Show me your kid/s room

    Hi

I'm looking for inspiration for DSs big boy room. He's only 15 months & we're not planning on moving him any time soon, but I can't stop thinking about ideas for when we do eventually move him

Originally I was thinking Thomas theme, but then I thought it'll probably date quicker. He did get a Thomas doona cover for his 1st birthday, so now I'm thinking a blue feature wall with red accessories. That way he can still use his Thomas doona & I can alternate it with maybe a pirate one or just blue & red stripey one. Was also thinking I'd get some matching material & cover a couple of small canvases.

So, I'd love to see photos of your kid/s room if you're willing to share

Here is DSs nursery. These photos were taken the day after my baby shower (hence the balloons) but it hasn't really changed since then. Please let me know if the links don't work

    * I know this thread has probably been done numerous times, but I thought I'd start a fresh one *

I would but DS's room looks like a bomb hit it!

We're renting so can't do anything with paint etc, but he a pirate themed room. He has a big black bunk bed that has pirate themed bedding and throw pillows (sharks, turtle, ships) and a big blue mosquito net. He has a pirate flag hanging as his curtain and a skull and cross bones rug on the floor and the furniture is all blue or red. He also has a lighthouse lamp that i got from a second hand shop and a few treasure chests and model ships dotted around. Oh, and a framed map of Australia on the wall and a few pirate themed wall stickers/

I love the idea of blue. Then you can change accessories as he grows.
There are always removable wall stickers. You can get Thomas ones.

Ive got a transport theme in DS room. Hes got a double bunk bed, big toybox, ball pit and tent in his bedroom. He also has a tv and DVD player in there. Hes 17 months old but Ive had his bedroom set up for ages. The doona cover was from Kmart for $14 for double and $10 for single. I have matching doonas for top and bottom

    I love your photos OP!!

I put together DS's bed today. I haven't got pictures of his entire room, but I do have some things I can share.

Before my DS was born, we wanted something different.. No cars, no rockets, something unique.. well some people would probably shake their head at the idea. But the DH and I were huge World of Warcraft fans. Now we weren't going to put half naked elves on his wall or anything. But we wanted something that was truly us.
SO we asked the artist to our favorite WoW related online comic 'NoobCow' to make small pictures with characters from her comic.
She made 6 for us for $50. And they are just beautiful, I am so glad I got them.
I have only one online. But here it is.

I plan on asking her to make a numbers and alphabet chart for his room
