Hi ladies,
Just wondering if anyone has ovulated without their FF chart picking it up from temps? Or if the chart picked it up and then took the lines off again a few days later?
Thanks![]()

Yeah I've heard about ff taking away the crosshairs if the temps don't remain high in the luteal phase, which then wouldn't be your luteal phase as they need to be above your pre-o temps.
Do you typically have long cycles?
It's not possible for ff to detect ovulation and keep the crosshairs if you haven't o'd- your temps will need to stay high or the crosshairs will be taken away.

If you have ovulated your temperatures will display ovulation when charted, so ff will pick it up if you have ovulated, always.
They do sometimes remove the ovulation line if your temperatures no longer display the pattern seen after ovulation has occurred ie your temperatures didn't stay up for at least 3 days after suspected ovulation.

Thanks ladies! My cycles have ranged in the past from 30-45 days, but I have been having acupuncture and my pre-O temps have been really consistently 36.2-36.3, then on Wed 13th they dropped to 36.15 (and I had EWCM) and then on the 14th up to 36.41 then 36.6 and stayed up there for a few days, but in combination with spotting they dropped a bit to 36.2 again.....which is why I got my hopes up thinking this might be implantation, but then FF took my O cross-lines off my chart today!!
I was so so so sure I had ovulated on Wednesday last week! I have PCOS and so issues with low progesterone in the luteal phase, which is why I was wondering if it was possible to O but then the progesterone drops away too soon and the temp goes down a bit.

Others are probably more knowledgeable than me with this, but perhaps you've got ff on the wrong settings for you? Different settings depict the way ff interacts with your chart during changes within your cycle. What happens when you take out 'spotting'?

I'm no expert either!.....wow I didn't realise there were different settings! If I take out spotting it doesn't make any difference, the lines are still gone. Will see what happens in the next few days. Thanks again![]()
