Default WDYT of unisex names ?

DH and I like the name... for our DD who is due in 6.5 weeks
We have had trouble picking a name and finally both agree on this one. Our last name Sounds like Wars ... do you think it flows alright?

i think the name sounds beautiful. i'm a big fan of rhylee. it's on my list if i ever have a girl (we would spell it Rhiley or Rhilie though as our DD has ie instead of just 'e' in her name)
2012- year of depression and failed attempts at ttc (4 yrs ttc)
2013- focus on work, family, love and happiness
2014- start TTC with a healthier mind and heart!

It's all about the heart now!

I like some boy names on girls but I don't like female names on boys for some reason.. I like my boy names 'strong' and manly.
Rhylee on a girl is lovely..

I had a riley in my daycare class, it took a bit for me to get used to a girl riley but it grew on me and I liked it...

I prefer Rhylee (or Reilly rather) for a boy, but it's your child.

Some names sound great for either gender, others not so much. I'm personally not a huge fan of Rhylee/Reilly/Riley for a girl.

Personally I'm a big fan. I agree with pp, they tend to work better when boys names are put on girls. I'm a bit eclectic liking many names of different styles.

I really like the name Riley and have also met a very sweet girl with this name.

Rhylee for a boy would be weird but like the spelling for a girl.
Riley is boy spelling as I see it ..

I dont mind uni sex names but would hate to be asked is that a boy or a girl all the time .. ARG

I love unisex names, I love Dylan and Cameron for a girl, DP said no though. I love the name you have chosen, and i like the way its spelt

    Thanks for your replies

My DH will def make sure it is well known that bubs is a girl lol, lots of pink in our wardrobe...

but I do worry about the whole...it is a boys name issue with family and friends when we announce bubs birth. I guess I'm just hoping that once there is a baby attached to the name then it will grow on people but in the end you cant please everyone so may as well just please our self...
