Kiz, I'm really sorry to hear that your back in hospital with your DD. What your going through seems really scary!
Glad to hear that they are moving you to Brisbane though. Nothing worse than a Dr thinking they know best and not moving you to a bigger facility.
We never thought we'd be in a out of hospital with a kid either, but had 7 admissions in 5 months at one stage. Thankfully nothing since January though.

Have you go any support in Brisbane? We're in Bundaberg, so a bit far for a shoulder!

Fox in Sox & myhusbandswife, thank you for your comments. It's my mission to get a nice long update put in today.
Really nice to know people actually read my ramblings!

Liz my daughter had strange seizures at 8 days old... Her ECG and EEG turned out to be ok, I still question if it's part of our problems today... I hope your bub gets better soon and you have answers

Kiz.. I'm 35 minutes from the royal women's and children's.. If you would like a friendly bubhub visitor i'm more than happy to visit, have a coffee and chat while you're there with your little one. It can be so stressful, boring and isolating at hospitals so please message if you'd like a friendly face :-)

    Kiz

I've got 3 boys and the older 2 are both have special needs

DS1 got all his diagnoses last year
(after me saying for years something wasn't right and he needed some extra help)
where DS2 has had issues since birth

we got some good news today
DS2 had a MRI and blood/genetic tests about a month ago
and we got the results today and all but some low iron was normal
at least we know know there is no noticeable Brain/Genetic cause
    for his CP like issues
all though if it has of shown something
it would have made getting a diagnoses 100times easier

Tomorrow DS1 has a speech assessment
it will be good to see how far his come in a year

    I hope everyone is well
