Unhappy TTC and partner working FIFO

DH and i are currently ttc ( its the longest its taken and so frustrating ) and in May he is starting a new project at work and will be working away 10 days on 4 off and only once a month his company will fly him home ( he can on any of his days off we just have to pay for it ).

I so worried we will never get pregnant , never matching up ovulation etc with his days home

Has anyone got a BFP with a situation like this ???? god im so upset!!!!!!! i cant get these stupid negative thoughts out of my mind!!!!!!!

    sorry about the rant

Hi, similar situation, DP is in the military and is always traveling and since sept it can never match up! And I am not one of those lucky people that get pregnant anyway. This is our first month since then that he has been home all month. Its the 2WW at the moment. I totally understand your frustration it is so hard when you want it so badly. Waiting 6mths to even have a full month is crap!

I can sympathise. My DH does FIFO work and many times we missed our prime opportunities of catching the egg due to his rosters.

I unfortunately can't give you a happy ending as we are still waiting for a BFP however we areon the fertility treatment route (have been for a while now) which FIFO work has also interfered with!! Can be very frustrating.

I wish you lots of luck and hope that BFP isn't far away!
