Good luck with your upcoming appointment. I am sure you will get one sooner, I was also on a cancellation list in 2009 and I recall the appointment was only a few weeks after I first booked in.

The pumpkin seeds is about 20
The gojis is a small handful
    1 x fish oil
20ml (we use a shot glass) for aloe juice

But just give his nurses a call and ask for the list of supps because I have a feeling I may have left some off?

MY DH also took menevit because he too has sperm issues. But that was our choice, not suggested by Wazza.

    Thanks for that Nicole
Am hoping Wazza will be able to help us, thought it would be good to get a head start for DP. I took all the supplements that Wazza recommends (and some others like L-Arganine for eg) in preparation for my last cycle and it turned out to be my worst cycle ever!!! 6 of my 9 eggs were immature (with no explanation. When I asked FS he said 'there's no easy answers"....yeah?? No sh*^&, but I still would of liked an answer easy or otherwise) so am not going to bother for myself for this upcoming cycle (I take iodine/folic acid tabs and vitamin D anyway). I feel I need the "heavy artillery" to help me with my eggs Just went down to the Chemist Wharehouse to get DP's supplements.......Jaysus!!!!! It's not cheap that's for sure...but what part of IVF is???? r.e. Menovit, DP takes a 1xday Multivitamin(has done for last 12 months) so will continue with those for now. DP due to see a urologist in 3 weeks (doubt he'll be able to surgically repair prob, just want to cross it off my list) so will call girls at Wazza's office after. Thanks for replying and for your help

    Hi all,

So I know this is an old thread but some of the ladies in one of the other fertility threads mentioned Wazza and I was wondering if anyone knows if he would be a good Dr to see for recurrent miscarriages?

We've not struggled to get pregnant but we loose our pregnancies in the first tri. Would I only see him for IVF or does he treat recurrent miscarriages as well?

    He sounds amazing!

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Wazza calls himself the 2nd opinion man and seems to tske on a lot of harder difficult cases. He will throweverything at you drug wise but doesnt leave any stone unturned. So definitely worth a shot but I would ring straight away as I have read new patients are being booked for december as he is so busy. But ask to be put on the cancellation list.
i found wazza to be very straight shooting and will tell you whether he can help or not. He gave me a less than 10% chance of getting pregnant and I now have 17month old twins. Goodluck in your journey

Thank you for your reply. There certainly is a lot of support for what this man has achieved!

I was just concerned that I didn't fall in to the 'right' category since we fall pregnant easily.

I just feel I need someone that I feel will shoulder some of this burden for me so I can breath a little easier know someone is on to it! and doing something to help. We went to the Recurrent miscarriage clinic at the RBH and honestly it was a waste of time in my opinion, they weren't willing to do anything for me and basically I was told to go away and keep miscarrying until I get a baby

I really just want someone to take everything seriously and look after us!

So far the testing we've had done has supposedly come back OK with the exception of positive ANA which I feel at this stage needs treating regardless as, like I said, was the only thing that came up.

    Anyway, enough babble from me!

Sorry to hear about your troubles with recurrent miscarriage. I highly recommend you see one of the fertility specialists at QFG. Along with ivf they treat for all sorts of infertility issues and I am sure if you find the right doctor they would start with a less invasive approach like timed intercourse and hormone monitoring. It could be something as simple as you requiring progesterone support, so certainly see someone sooner rather than later. I have only seen wazza as my main fs, but have seen two other while he was on leave and both were lovely. Theirs names were dr Peter Ganter and dr Shane Higgins. Probably better to get in sooner rather than later like Liney said above wazza is hard to get into and next avail appts for new patients could be as late as December. Good luck and let us know how you go? X

Nicole83, thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, I don't think it is hormonal or progesterone as tests came back Ok for those apparently. I will have everything tested again though. I was also on prog pessaries this last pregnancy and it has ended badly too.

I planning on making some phone calls on Monday!

It's really hard to work out who to see! But the suggestions and recommendations on BH are great!

If you can't get into wazza for ages, I can recommend dr Karen Watson also with qfg, for the interim.

    good luck x x

I always got a park on wickham terrace or one of the side streets but most of my appts were morning. On the odd arvo appt I.sometimes parked at the roma st gardens and walked but not nice weather for that. There is a parking station behind from memory. Dont forget street is meter parking and you pay first. Yay for getting an appt so soon
