Fantastic news musical gal how exciting, I can understand you not believing the news at first I bet that was a shock. Hope all goes well from here and you csn start to relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Does Warren often allow 2 embryos to be transferred? We have our first appointment with him on Tuesday morning which is exciting really hope he has some answers for us. Hoping our notes get there in time though apparently my old clinic are still working on them and hoping to send them over Monday.

    He allows 2 if you're over 40.
He's brilliant. I'll never forget our 1st apt with him. We flew from cairns. Straight after the apt we went straight to a bar for a stiff drink! Lol. Lots of food for thought, and he just breaks it down so easily for you.

Default Dr Warren De Ambrosis - Wazza appreciation thread

Congratulations Musicalgal! It's definitely surreal when you finally get that precious BFP... And twins is a great bonus. We too had that wonderful moment earlier this year with Wazza. We are currently 34w3d with twins and expecting them to arrive very soon..

Heyside - Yes! Wazza will transfer two (he did for my cycles and I am under 40) , he even commented to us that he would Tx 3 'if they let me' - I think QFG stop him Tx anymore than 2 though.

    He transferred 3 for me...twice!!!😁

That was QFG policy at the time for 40+ yr old's with multiple implantation failures though it may have changed now??

    Anyhoo...Congrat's @MusicalGal 😊

I had my appointment yesterday and Dh was swept away with Warrens confidence and knowledge. It was good to hear he had a good plan ready to go for us and we are starting asap. He said he won't be able to put two embies back for me due to my age and his hands being tied, he stressed he would like to.

Great news that your appointment went so well and you're starting straight away Sounds like QFG have pulled the reins right in regarding transfers because he would if he could!!

Wishing you and your DH with this Cycle. Wazza can get you over the line with a sticky one!!!!

Yes apparently there was a meeting that discussed coffins and chance of death, warren used some very choice words when discussing the meeting he said he would prefer to put two back, he has his hands tied.

I can imagine his choice words too!! He used a few in my initial appointment as well in regards to DP and I being knocked back from Cycling with TFC because the "Head Honcho" wouldn't give us a special dispensation to allow them to use DP's frozen TESA'd sperm even though we'd just paid for 3 full Cycles with QFG and met all the other conditions for going there
