It got better after a couple of nights & it was easier too if your stim cycles were close together. (I did back to back). But you were back to square one if a long break between stims. Have you tried day strength mersyndol? Might not make you has drowsy. Lots of water but Panadol probably won't do much. Good luck

Oh they suck big time. Good luck with Wazza. I wish you all the very best

I gave up on the patches after four nights - I was waking with splitting headaches and was vomiting through the night due to them. Soooooo much better without them!

    Congratulations on your BFP @mischa24!

We have our first Wazza egg pick up scheduled for this Thursday so I hope he can work some of his magic on us too

Is anyone able to tell me what Wazza's attitude is towards ladies trying to conceive over the age of 40?

I have an FS on the Gold Coast who is OK, but honestly, the amount of times he brings up my age and throws statistics at me, makes me just want to scream. I know he's just preparing me for the fact that it is difficult to have a child at my age - but I've had two natural conceptions in the last 12 months and all my bloods, hormone levels etc all show that I'm not even in peri-menopause yet, and I am ovulating. They can't find a reason for my miscarriages, and they seem to be for different reasons (one blighted ovum, one twins where one broke away and caused a big bleed).

It's been six months since my last miscarriage, so I'm ready to do something assisted seeing as I haven't fallen again naturally - but I think I want an FS who's in my corner and won't write me off due to my age. I believe with two easy conceptions as soon as we tried, I am still in with a chance and want a doctor on my side who thinks the same way.

Any feedback on whether Wazza might be for me?

I'm only in my twenties so not sure oh Warren's opinion on over 40's but after many years and lots of time in assisted conception circles I am firmly of the opinion that if you're on your last chance then Warren is the doctor to be with. I'd book an appointment ASAP with him though (even if you eventually cancel it) as his popularity is reflected in his very long wait list, almost a year.
