    Question bleeding after d&c

A couple of days ago I had a d&c to remove retained products. it had been 5 weeks since the birth of my bub.

After the d&c I bled lightly for the first day, and they discharged me from the hospital. today though the bleeding is bright red again and theres more of it.

    is this normal?

I never had any more than brown discharge for only a few hours. Fresh bright blood isnt common at all, did they give you a number to call if you have concerns?

I had a D&C in Jan of 2010 to remove retained products too and i bled right red blood for three or four days after, and was told it was totally normal, but get seen by your GP just to be sure.

Went to the doctor last night as I started freaking out about it lol. She said its normal to bleed as long as its not heavier then a period, no clots and doesnt continue for over 2 weeks.
