Maybe the spermy will meet the eggy, u never know!

Good luck mum2chris on the EPU. I hope they get lots.

Waiting for my af, when I do I have to call the clinic and go and get my blood tested and pick up my hormone injections. I start jabbing that day. Sounds like fun. I hope I can do it ok.

The ultrasound today was to check how many follicles I have and what size they are. They need to be at least over 18mm for it to be mature enough to hopefully be fertilised. The ultrasound this morning showed I only have one follicle at 14mm. I’m going in for another US on Wed to see if it’s grown but the nurse said they may have to cancel. I don’t know what to do. Do I push to go ahead and either risk that the follicle is empty or it may have one egg that also may or may not fertilise or just give up? I don’t want to cancel because as we all say it only takes one, but do I go through the whole procedure for nothing? I’m just sad that my eggs are so low that I may have to give up IVF and TTC altogether. The nurse said that there is this wonderful new drug out that could really help my eggs and when I asked her what’s it called she said DHEA and I said that I’ve been taking it for months. Is this it for me, is my TTC journey over? I’ll let you all know what happens after Wednesday’s US.

Shelby - hope your DH comes home soon, yes you can't do it without him.

Shelby – I hope you and your DH got busy last night

My US this morning showed 2 new follies making a race for the finish line. I need to have yet another US on Friday to see how well they’ve grown and hopefully I’ll go in for egg pick up on Monday, I’ll keep you posted.

Good luck mum2chris, I hope those follies grow juicy and fertile.

You never know Shelby this may be it. Otherwise you do have next month.

Afm, feeling crampy so think our last shot at au natural is over. Not sure when af will show but when it does we start Ivf. I guess this gives us a better chance but I'm still depressed it has come to this. It's so expensive too and with me not working, yikes...

If it does work it will be so worth it though it's just amazing though that we hand over 4000 for not a guaranteed result.
