    Hi daydreamer

Thanks for your nice response. I'm still waiting for AF to arrive but my temperature dropped again today so I don't think it's far off. Have you ever charted your temperature.

Good luck with your next cycle, it sounds like you're in a better frame of mind.

We see our specialist on tuesday so we shall see. I'm feeling a bit pessimistic about Ivf given my low amh, but we will give it a shot. I would like to know from the FS how many she would recommend before we have to start thinking about donor eggs. I need my back up plan, it's just my way of coping I guess.

Luckyme – how did your appointment go on Tuesday? Thank you for your feedback on seeing a counsellor. I have avoided it in the past because unless the counsellor can help me get pregnant I didn’t see any point in seeing her. But I like what you said, it may not change the situation but it may possibly help me to deal with things a bit better, I’m still considering it.

DD – it makes me sad when you say you don’t deserve to be mother because you’re not doing the best for your DS. YOU DO DESERVE IT, I can tell you are a lovely person and DS is lucky to have you. Sure, you have your up and down days, I can understand that, but I know you love your DS and that’s the best thing you can do for him. BTW DD – how are your pups going?

I’m in Sydney and go to Westmead Fertility Centre. Yes, we have MFI but I also have problems with my egg quality, which is why I’m taking all my supplements. Me and my DH are a good match, goodness knows how DS was conceived.

Shelby – so happy to hear about your perfect wedding day. Hoping you’re having a fantastic honeymoon in Thailand.

Hello Treenz, Woohoo, Joey & other TTC #2 ladies.

Just had to share that I had the best week as I went to the New Kids/Backstreet Boys concert last Saturday night, it was fantastic and I was on a high for days. AF should be due next week and then the countdown to my next cycle begins.

    Talk soon.

    Hi mum2chris

I can hear the happiness emanating from the post. You seem in a good place right now, I'm so happy for you. Good luck on your next cycle. I reckon that we have to have a good time in the rest of our life to make up for the sadness in the other and music is also one thing that makes me happy.

The fs was not as bad as I thought. She said that although I have a low amh I can still get pregnant. It's just time that is an issue for me as I will be menopausal in five years or less.
Ivf will be hard as I have less eggs but she won't really knows until she tries just it will be alot harder than if I had a normal amh.

She's gonna run some tests and wash out my tubes, she's gonna track my cycle as well.

Anyways it's not as bad as I thought and DH was there to listen carefully and be the voice of reason when I'm feeling down. Now it's just a process we have to work through.

Our back up plan is donor eggs which the fs said may not be that far down the track.

Hello to everyone else. Baby dust to us all!

Hi Luckyme – well, my high from the concert has worn off unfortunately. AF arrived since the last we spoke (wrote ) so now starts IVF #5. I’m glad your FS was good and believes you can get pregnant, that’s a positive. I know having low AMH is a worry (mine is 6.1) but I’ve heard of ladies here on BH who have fallen pregnant with low AMH so there definitely is hope. I have always had low egg count at pick up (7, 4, 2, 3) so I know the devastation of being on a biological countdown. Washing out your tubes may help, do you have a date when this will happen? I hope sooner rather than later. Glad your DH was there to support you. IVF is not as scary as you may believe, it’s just not what we planned to help us get bub #2, but who knows, I hear of natural miracles all the time so this is still a possibility . My FS also suggested donor eggs, but I’m just not that willing to go down that path.

Take care, hello to others .

Hi mum2chris, so how are you feeling now the concert high has worn off? I'm feeling a bit better as I think things are a bit more in control after seeing doctor. Also I read one of the pamphlets she gave me which suggested only researching baby stuff for an hour a day (or something like that), which has helped me stop thinking about it as much, which then got me down.

So focus on staying present and enjoying each day I have with my little family. The future is not in my control so put it to one side and think about it occasionally. Today is the day and I want to maximize my happiness out of it.

Still hoping though that ovulation tracking helped and we got preggers though. It was so weird though calling a nurse to get my results and her saying please have intercourse tonight and tomorrow morning! That has never happened to me before!

Mind you sex in the morning with a 16 month old and a hubby who has to go to work! Disaster, it was actually comical.. Needless to say it didn't happen, we managed to dtd in the night though, and the following evening, so hope it was enough!!
