    Hello everyone ,

Sorry haven't been on for a while, so much to catch up on.

Luckyme1 - how have you been? Sorry to hear AF came, biatch! I hope your thyroid is behaving herself. Glad you got a referral for a specialist, how did your appointment go? Hope you've been continuing with acupuncture, sounds like it's really helping you out with stress. I've tried it and it did nothing for me, so I'm glad it's working for you. Sorry to hear about your redundancy, any positive news with getting another role? Good luck with your ultrasound on Monday and hope you receive your progesterone and AMH results soon.

Shelby - love your avatar pic, absolutely gorgeous.

    Ginny83 - best wishes with TTC #2.

Woowoo - hope you're well. I'm so glad you're taking the next step in TTC 2 and starting IVF around Easter, hopefully you'll get a BFP before then though, enjoy eating and drinking what you like before you start, like Luckyme said it will help you feel relaxed and ready to go for it. If you need any IVF info, feel free to let me know. I'm in no way an expert but have a bit of an idea after just going through my 4th cycle. It's great to hear you've started yoga and loving it, keep it up!!

Joey3 - hello to you, best wishes for your TTC journey, hope it's short and sweet. Love your avatar pic too. I've had to resort to IVF for no. 2 as we tried for 2 years naturally and nothing happened and I wasn't getting any younger. With IVF, it is recommended that you live your life as normal as possible, but yes, with TTC (IVF or natural) vigorous exercise is not recommended, nor is drinking or smoking.

AFM - had egg collection yesterday and had 3 eggs. I wasn't feeling positive at all as my last IVF cycle I had 2 eggs and both didn't fertilise. I said to DH that I'm going to buy myself a Pandora bracelet to make me feel better, he just laughed at me but looked a bit sad as he is more clucky than me and would dearly love another child. Anyway, I was walking DS to school this morning when I received an SMS, it was from the fertility clinic. I was reading and walking (which is a bit silly I know, not to mention dangerous as I could have walked onto the road!) but I was too shocked to stand still. I couldn't believe what I was reading - all 3 eggs fertilised and I'm going for embryo transfer tomorrow.

Whether it was DHEA or the other supplements I was on that helped the fertilisation, I don't know, but a definite improvement from my last disastrous cycle. I forwarded the SMS to DH who rung me all excited, but I just couldn't get excited because the hard part now is for the emby to stick. I'll let you know in 2 weeks how I go. I just wish I can make it through the 2 weeks, not so much to see if it's a BFP (which of course would be the ultimate) but because I've never actually made it through the TWW before AF appears. Also, feeling a bit down as my cousin who is a year older than me is expecting bub no. 2 and we've been trying longer than her, damn it!

Good, good luck mumtochris. Keep all my fingers crossed, try and stay present and in each day and don't think too much to the future and you will get through this.

Thanks so much for the kind words about the tests, I haven't got the results yet so I'll ring again on Monday if I haven't heard anything.

As for the redundancy it's all turned out good as hubby has now found another job and it pays well enough for me to stay at home for the next six months at least. The tricky thing is holding on here long enough to get my redundancy as well, but we're seeing a solicitor to get advice on whether we can on Wednesday.

My thyroid results have come back normal as well. Also got my ultrasound tomorrow as well.

Wonderful news, MumtoChris! The 2WW is so ordinary, isn't it? Our mind can become our worst enemy. Ah well. We can write out our frustrations on here.

hey all. does anyone mind if i join your thread? im TTC number 3. it will be my partners first. my 3rd. we lost a bub at 12 wks in october and ts taken some time to get past.
we decided in december to try again. each period is like a kick to the stomach. i want it so badly. and so does he. on day 13 of my cycle i had brown streaked blood. then 4-5 days later boobies have been sensitive. so im a bit nervous. i did a test yesterday and me and my friend swore we saw the faintest of faint second line. but then within half an hour it was gone. fingers crossed its just to early for a bfp.

Good luck with the TTC, doing it after a miscarriage is so hard as well. I got my ds after two miscarriages and now we're trying for our second. I really want to get preggers before I turn 40. It's been four months so far. And I hope it isn't five.

2SpunkRats- Welcome, and let us know how you go! This is a slower moving thread because we're busy with our children I suppose (as you'd know). I'm new here too.

As for me, I'm on cd12 which means that my fertile days are coming up soonish (30 day cycle). My daughter and I are feeling out of sorts today. I have a sore throat and tingly ear canals so I'm assuming that's what she's feeling too. I hope I'm feeling better for the bd'ing days coming up!

How's everyone else going? Glad to here about the hubby's job, LuckyMe. It would have been a bit of a relief and I bet it'll be worked out in 6 months and he'll have even more stability there or with a new job that's arisen!

Thanks Luckyme and Joey! Well, had 2 embryo’s transferred on Tuesday and I just forgot how bad the TWW really is. Every single little twinge I am feeling, like you said Joey our mind can definitely become our worst enemy. I also feel like I should be in cotton wool as I’m worried that everything I’m doing will cause the embryo’s to ‘fall out’. I hadn’t felt so many pot holes, speed bumps or rough roads in my life, I feel like an old lady when I drive around corners. Unfortunately the third embryo didn’t make it for freezing, which I’m a bit bummed about because I’m still waiting to have a frostie!!

Great to hear your hubby got a new job Luckyme. How was your ultrasound on Monday?

Hi there 2Spunkratz, good luck with #3, sorry to hear about your mc, hopefully you’ll get your BFP real soon, did you do another HPT?

Joey, sorry to hear about you and DD not feeling the best, I’m sure you’ll be fine by the time you get to DTD.

I'm so sorry 2spunkratz that AF came. I hope you can work things out with BF, it's so stressful TTC but please don't give up.

It's hard 2spunkratz. Maybe you can find someone else to talk to about the stress of TTC. I vent on bubhub. What else is going on in your life, have you got an outlet to take your mind off TTC?

But losing a baby is so hard, I had two miscarriages before my ds was born and it's so distressing, I think the partners feel sad too but in a different way. We're here if you need to vent.
