    Hi all,

Glad to hear you had a nice walk yesterday. Nothing serious happened, just had to help DH with lifting a cabinet around at his Mum's that had to be done that morning. DH made it up to me by taking me to the gardening center, my favourite kind of shopping! Spent yesterday afternoon in the garden, was so nice.

Rach - What a beautiful name. Sorry to hear you are sick, must be heartbreaking not being able to see Marli. Sending you both lots of get better vibes.

LM - Hope all the kiddies are feeling better.

Waiting - NOoooo!!!!! Get better soon you two. Being sick is no fun for flying or holidays.

Shy - I'm doing mine online too. Although I have to take P to the shops after school tomorrow to buy her something for her school disco, hope the shops aren't too mental. How's S with night sleeps?

Digby - Congrats on Z's weight gain. As for shower time, P & J jiggled S in the bouncer, worse case senario he screamed. I wasn't getting up at 4am to have a shower before DH went to work.

Lisa - Yah for DH! My DH misses S some days too, he sneaks in and watches him sleep for awhile. Hope work settles down for you soon. Don't feel bad, it's the right situation for your family.

I have my cardiac MRI tomorrow, not looking forward to it, reminds me I'm faulty goods. Lovely DH juggled his work around so he could come with me , as he knows it freaks me out. I just realised I have 2 specialist appts in the 1st week of the school hols, that should be fun, NOT!!!!

    Hi all!

Rach.....what an absolutely beautiful name you've chosen!! just beautiful! Sorry to hear you've got a cold. you didn't need that on top of everything! Hope you get over the cold very very soon. That's great about possibly being able to start bfing soon! she's a little trooper!! if we can do anything please let me know!

Shy.....sorry to hear of your disappointment! I must admit that i haven't gotten into the toys yet. i just kinda cant be bothered and we got no room and i'm not sure we really need anything right now even tho i know we could layby for later! oh i dont know! i reckon i'm the only mother who can't be bothered with the toy sale! . How are you and S?? how's the sleeping been the last few days?? How are you going with him and solids?

Kiwi.....goodluck for tomorrow and for the other 2 appts too!! hope all will be ok!

Waiting....not good about A being sick again and for you being sick too!! I reckon i'm coming down with something altho guaranteed it'll be gone by tomorrow! charlie still isn't over his cold from 4 weeks ago either. apparently the cough can hang around for 6 weeks. we've used nasal spray on him to unblock his nose! that was fun! . Hope you guys recover before your holiday!!

Liv....i'm doing 9 day fortnight and david is home 1 day a week.

MG/MA/Country/Livvy....hope you guys are all well!!

Well guess who the dumbo is!! Me!! I had mums group over today (my first day off) and i was cleaning all the toys and the jumperoo lastnight so they could play and especially have a play in the jumperoo.....and i went to spray the jumperoo with glen 20....and when i started spraying.....guess what it was i was using! OVEN CLEANER!!! I didn't check the can cos they looked the same! was such an idiot. it only got a maybe 1/4 of it and DH and I scrubbed and scrubbed it but i certainly didn't want any babies using it today so we're going to give it at least another 6 scrubs before letting charlie back on it! couldn't believe it!! what an idiot!
Anyway, we're also progressing with charlies food. On the weekend we made him salmon mornay with cheese and full cream milk, beef casserole, chicken and creamed corn and a fruit mix of apple, kiwi fruit and apple/raspberry/rhubarb juice! made this all 'lumpy' too! was very very excited by it all!
Oh yeah, and as mentioned above, i must be the only mother not excited by the toy sales! I'm just not interested i guess cos we got no room and i'm really not sure what to get him anyway! maybe i'll hit the after xmas sales with more confidence instead!

    Hope you're all well!

Lisa - thanks for making me laugh with the oven cleaner. It's the first thing Ive laughed at in about a week.

Waiting - that just sucks! What a huge bummer. Can you postpone it?

Well E is really sick now and sneezing and coughing all over DH and I which is just not what we want right now. We took her to the Drs and it's just that horrible cold that's going around but she's got it quite bad. Grrr!

I didn't make it in to see Marli today either as I'm coughing all over the place too. Double grrr! DH went in twice though but he's hesitant to spend too much time there incase he's coming down with this cold too.

Marli has had the prongs which were helping her breathe taken out so she's breathing on her own which is excellent. She's also had the IV drip taken out and is purely on breastmilk which is also excellent. She has had to have the phototherapy light turned back on though which is not so excellent. Two steps forward and one back today I guess.

Morning! Well my ears are even worse today and A is just miserable so definitely cancelling our trip. Off to the docs this afternoon.

Auuugh I started writing this 1/2 an hour ago, it keeps getting better - just had a call to say my tenant in my rental property is really behind in rent and looks like he's done a runner... have to go to tribunal. OMFG the amount of money we have lost this week is rediculous (I also had to take the cat to the vet $200 to find out theres nothing wrong GRRRRRR) thank god for insurance I guess...

    Ok enough about me!!

Rach - Good to hear Marli has made some improvement, bummer that E is now sick and its two steps forward one step back but as long as she is improving then thats awesome news

Kiwi - Good luck for your MRI today

    Hi ladies

Just at work drinking the best cup of tea I've made in 10 years lol, go figure. Sometimes a scotch finger biscuit and a cup of tea is just the ticket.

RachinSyd - oh dear this coughing thing seems to be going around, lots of my work colleagues have got it and I'm STILL coughing after being sick as a dog from 2 weeks ago! It just will not quit. Hope you're feeling better soon. That's great news that there have been some recent milsetones with Marli, but a shame about the light. Step by step, day by day I guess!

Winzy - aww it is cute when a bubba wants its mum the most but also frustrating too I can imagine Sounds like you've been busy with lots of visitors. Hope all is going well and you're not too exhausted.

LadySchnitz - where abouts in the city do you work? I'm on the far end of King William Street (the Northern side). Could be fun to meet up I think I'd just pick a day my boss was out of town so I could have a bit of flexibility with time

waiting - so sorry for the no go on your trip, that succckssss We're going to Hawaii in late august and I'm actually a little scared that when we get to that point, the doc will tell me we can't go. I'll be 19 wks so it is a good time to travel in terms of how i'll be feeling, but with twins and all, there'll always be that possibility that something might happen that means it's not safe for me to go (i suppose that's the same in a singleton pregnancy too, but maybe not as likely). Anyway I'm mostly concerned about the welfare of my bubbas of course, but definitely hoping that all is well and we can go!!

kiwi - good luck with your MRI!!! I can understand why you wouldn't be looking forward to it Hopefully all goes well though.

Digby - great news about z's weight gain

AFM - well all is okay here, I had an OB appointment yesterday and did a quick external scan of the bubbas. It's always a relief to see them still in there, sometimes I really find it hard to believe that anything is happening at all (aside from my pants not doing up of course!). I was having a little panic that they weren't really moving and then one of the twinnies did a little LEAP, it was just so cuteeeeee. DH saw a little hand and just couldn't believe it. The other one was not quite as interested in moving around, but the doctor said he saw it moving it's little leggies a couple of times and he was happy with that. I've got my NT scan on Monday which i'm VERY nervous about, won't have the full results until Friday. When theyre doing the scan though do they tell you anything?? I hate the thought that I'll know absolutely nothing about whether theyre okay until Friday. For some reason I'm really worried about the outcome! Other than that though, all good. Bought a belly belt extender thing which is keeping me in my work pants and jeans, just genius, lol. I have a constant headache that just isnt touched by panadol and panadeine, but I figure it's hormones, they checked my BP and that was fine. Tired and hungry, but that's nothing new
