Kiwi - I had endo removed at the last lap I had done before TTC A, plus a whole lot of other growth tissue removed that the specialist thought was clear endo. (I was riddled with it!) Once the biopsy was done it was not endo, another rare growth that apparently at the time didnt even have a name and hasnt yet had any research done in to it, it was just 'known'. (wtf was my answer??!!) It was all removed but no-one knew how to treat it or prevent it returning (if it does return, again they couldnt even say if it might or might not return) so I was really left in the "too hard basket" and shipped of to IVF. My gut feeling is that it has returned or something is going on maybe the endo again because its getting worse and the pain is much the same Ah well suck it up princess is my motto today!!!

Winzy - We only had Alexis chosen for a girls name, no other girls names at all. A didnt even have a middle name chosen, we were still deciding while I was in labour!!! (Alexis Tia)

Digby - Im with the others, I think you should have the right to choose to have a c-section given your history. Id still be bugging them if I were you!

Hi girls! Finally 5 mins (hopefully more) to myself!

Liv, so sorry to hear about the adenomyosis. I hope T could shed some light on it for you as she suffers from the same. From what I know (minimal) it is treatable. As for being selfish, hell no! We are also wanting to try for number 2 soon. I just need to work out what I have to do at work to be entitled to maternity leave again!

Waiting, good work on the placement, I hope they keep their word and give you relief spots once you're qualified. Sounds like you're a great teacher!

Rach, sorry to hear about E's ear. I hope it gets better, and you don't get the full on symptoms.

Re names for babies, if we had a girl, I had a name picked from back in 2007! Not sure if will use it now if we have a girl, as it has become quite common, and a gf has used it for her bub!

Winzy and Digby, wow I can't believe you girls are so close. The countdown on FB brings back memories! You must both be so exhausted and busting to meet bubs! Can't wait for your announcements! Do either of you need anyone to announce on here for you? I am happy to offer!

Winzy, you asked a question from memory about baby furniture down south, but I think you have it covered, I can't think of any others!

Digby, I would also be pushing for a section. It should be your choice and you should be completely at ease with how bubs will be delivered. Oh and I am voting boy for Winzy also!

Lady, so happy that C behaved while you were in Sydney, and glad to hear it was a nice send off for your mil. I hope things get easier for you and DH. I also tried SOS but didn't like it, but good luck with it. I hope you get a response from TH on her FB page but I think she normally charges for advice!!

Country, good to hear from you. I hope things are going well.

Kiwi, welcome to FB world! I added you this morning! S is not on solids yet, just bf still. I do look forward to adding a bit of solid food down the track, but at least 4-6 weeks away yet. I don't want to start til 6 months. Glad to hear S is walking again for you!

LM, I took your advice and am purchasing from dimples! I am getting a merino wool outfit. Looks gorgeous and a bit simpler than the christening outfits, although M looked gorgeous in his! CAn you remember how long it took to come from NZ?

    to those I've missed.

Anyway, I think S is going through a growth spurt. He has me exhausted again! he has become really chatty the last couple days, like talking constantly and shrieking! He has been waking at least twice a night which is unusual. I would like to try re-settling but DH has been on 12 hour day shifts so I don't want to disturb him too much so instead I feed him. But he doesn't seem just restless, he does cry and seems hungry, so hopefully just a wonder week! His day sleeps haven't been great the past couple days either, so not sure if it's all connected. I can see a couple lumps in his gums, so not sure if the teething is about to start also!

    Have a good day everyone!

Waiting.....oh dear! sounds more terrible now that you've explained it! wouldn't be fun knowing you were in the 'too hard' basket! that's a bit unfair! are you going to get drs to explore again and see what may be causing you so much pain?? .

Liv.....hope you've coped ok without DH! I had 10 nights without DH! man that was hard! how's little C?

Winzy.....i'm sticking with my guess of boy!

Lisa : it has been hard a Mini C has been sick but the past two nights he has slept through thank god .

As for the sos it sonetimes it a little bit of guess work to get it started but it does get easier cooper easts at the sheduled times but will not sleep at lunch time he also went through a growth spurt the last week and sick and sleeping went out the window he thought it was for the weak one night i was up with him every hour pmg i was exhausted and he os teething poor little man .

shy : thanks hun mine is treatable with suppression and then ivf and I was told it will just get worse and that i should have a marina after the next baby as the cure is no period hence why it is good through pregnancy I feel that i had it when i got pregnant with C but I find that acupuncture helps me heaps waitting to hear back from dr lane to see if he wants me to see him at his rooms or repromed .

Girls I have heard that once you have had a baby it is easier to conceive again weather naturally or ivf do you think that is true ? just curious

Liv - Yes Ive heard it is true that your fertility is higher after conceiving first bubs. Ive had at least 3 friends who have fallen pregnant the first month (or 2) of trying for bubs #2 thinking it would take a lot longer then were shell-shocked that their babies will be so close in age! It can happen. Hmmm the natural BFP or IVF road.. only you can make that call (but I understand exactly where you are at, we are in the same boat as A was a natural BFP in amongst it all too.... its a tough one!)

Liv, it is also suspected I have adenomyosis but Ive never been checked for that, what was the process with you? I ha the mirena in for about 18 months and had it removed before TTC A, it was the only thing that remotely worked for me. I do recommend it though I had a few side effects from it but out of everything I tried (multiple pill combinations and Depo injections) it was the only thing that suppressed my AF even just a little. (I still often had AF with the mirena in but Im just strange....!!) My specialist said its pretty much the only thing she recommends for people in my case (and sounds like yours too) when AF needs to be suppressed.

Lisa - Im going to go to the GP as soon as prac is over to get a new referral back to my specialist as my old referral would have expired by now.

Liv......I've heard so also. They do say (supposedly) the first 12 months are when your most fertile after having a baby & many natural miracles occur even after IVF for last Bub. I'm hoping so anyway, we won't be going on any contraceptive but won't be doing ivf (hoping for a natural miracle) but no pressure this time. Liv just remember you've done it once you can do it again.

Waiting.....hope they can sort out your AF pains & Fingerscrossed baby #2 will come along at the right time for you & DH.

Shy......hope S goes back to a better sleep pattern soon xx

AFM.......been having sharp pains down below on & off all day. Don't want to get too excited as I know this sort of thing can go on for weeks before anything happens. But boy do they hurt!! Not sure if it's BH's or maybe cervix softening???
I'm trying to get my head around having a VB as I feel I'm not really getting a choice but having said that I'm sure if there was a risk they would do a sect. On the positive side at least recovery should be much quicker & I won't have to wait 6 weeks to drive. I guess there's always a risk of heomaraging from a sect also so theres a risk either way (I'm telling myself) having said all this if I get a different specialist next week I'll try again to get my point across & see what they say!

Hi all, sorry things have been so hectic here i have no tiem to do anything apart from look after the kidlets.

Shy - i bought from the stockist here so not sure how liong shipping takes - hopefully no more than a week or two if its in stock i guess

Liv - trying naturally did nothing for us, but i do know of some people who have fallen naturally after IVF. I am with you totally on the you know what your missing out on stuff - exactly how we felt too, but you'll get there. Im sure it will all work out and C will have a beautiful sister or brother before long - you may need to save extra for all those beautiful dresses for bub

Kiwi - HI!!!! feels liek i havent spoken to you forever, really need to catch up

Rach - we're fine, but thansk fo rthe offer of help - i will sing out if i need anything

Lisa - hope your nutting out the routine, as others have said its good for a base but sometime syou need to tweak the time to suit you, im lucky that max did it perfectly form day one but these two monkeys are in differnet tiem zones entirely

Dighby and winzy - every tiem you both post i get excited, not long now, and winzy, im voting blue too

Waiting - you doing such an amazing job with your prac, really must catch up too, sorry i havent been to get the pillow - its a full on mission to get out the house either with everyone in tow or alone as brett will only let me leave if everyone is settled and asleep and fed, which of course never happens at the same time

gotta run, max out the bath - awful nappy rash due to massive molars coming up so screams when the nappy and cream come near - good news is he has been asking for a big boy bed, so may attempt that one again sometime soon

oh - whats the deal with the mirena, im booke dto have one in on teh 31st, i thought it was an IUD that prevented implantation, had no idea AF stopped - info please!

LM - ahhhh cheeky monkeys those twinnies are!! Good to hear you guys are doing well, hope they get some kind of in-sync routine happening soon. No worries on the pillow, like I said I can drop it to you, saves you having to go out. Let me know what afternoons you're home this week, Ill drop it round after school one day (maybe Tues or Wed??). Poor Max, hope the molars come through quickly and his poor little bum gets a break, god the molars are horrible!!!

My understanding is that the mirena works not only prevents implantation but alters the lining of the uterus to make it unfavourable for implantation in the first place. Therefore AF can be absent (due to the hormone used in it too) or very light as there is minimal lining to shed. Hence why it is used to suppress AF (in my case as AF is too crazy and the b!tch likes to completely suck all the life and blood out of me I swear if AF were real shed be a blood-sucking leech or a vampire ). Are you getting Beth to put the Mirena in? She offered to put one back in for me after A but I decided I wanted to try to stay away from the pill/mirena for as long as possible, I had a gut feeling I could last 12-18months off of all contraception knowing my history...

My body has this CRAAAAAZY ability to after commencing on a successful pill combination/mirena/everything else ive tried and I find something works.... at around the 12 month mark of using whatever they have prescribed everything ALWAYS starts to go downhill and by 18months Im always back at debilitating pain and having a review/new lap done. I then become a human pin cushion again until they figure out what to try next.... After having no AF for 9 months while preggas with A, it seems spooky to me that A will be 18 months next week and Im dizzy / faint and vomiting due to the pain and intensity tonight....

Right Im off to find some decent painkillers and have a hot bath... hope everyone is doing well (or at least better than me!!!)

Lady. Now I'm definitely not an expert but c sounds pretty good to me only one half hour of wake time at night wow!
Liv: hooray for dh coming home!!! And best wishes for a natural bfp before starting ivf!
Wh: that's a really nice name I like it u poor thing it must be awful to have such a lot of pain with af
Shy: yep not too long now it's hard to believe bubs is so close! it's still hard to picture holding feeding and actually looking at bubs when its still just a wriggling kicking squirmy thing inside of me!
Digby: ooooooo how exciting! Good luck if this is it girl! I reckon that your drs would only let u have a vb if there was very little risk... But I guess that after your previous experience it's no wonder you are hesitant to go the vb option... But then as u say there are risks associated with the c sect and plusses with having a vb... Hard call.
Afm: it seems the blues are winning! Had a baby shower to go to today 'twas lovely and now I'm trying to plan a nth nsw vacation for when bubs will be 5 months old I'd just like some opinions please... Do u think staying in one place for the week or driving around and exploring would be preferable / possible with a bubs of 5 months? We'd like to look around but im not sure
I can be bothered... Can anyone convince me of the best thing to do? any personal experiences? Thanks!!
