Hi, quick post while Little Miss A is watching In the Night Garden..

Lisa - So sorry to hear about DHs Mum, hope he is doing ok in the circumstances. If you need a hand with anything or some company over the weekend sing out

Winzy - I made a nappy stacker for A and used it initially but now its mainly just used for spare MCNs. A much prefers the disposable nappies to be kept in a box on the floor or in a basket under the changetable as then she gets to play with them. Its amazing how entertaining nappies can be!!!

MG - Good luck with your scan, I know what you mean about S being so full on, A is climbing and throwing herself off of anything and everything nowdays its crazy!!! Gotta love it tho

    Kiwi- wow Sam has hair

Ah bum ITNG has finished bbl

Lisa - I hope you and dh are ok. A shame you can't be there with him. Tough on you too, as I'm sure you feel helpless. Xxx hugs to you.

Ok Im back (geez that took a while )

LM - hope you, Max and the twinnies are doing well. Im picking up the b/feeding pillow for you tomorrow, will msg u to organise a time to drop it round, can do either straight after I pick it up (around 4.30pm ish) as Ill be most of the way to your place anyway, or I can drop it round Sat morning if you want Max to have a play with A. Up to you!

Lisa - I had the Fisher Price Rainforest highchair for A, bought it from Target. It was same as the ones people have mentioned on here, wheels, reclined, adjustable height, removable tray. We only used it for a little while once A was sitting unsupported we changed to the IKEA chair, its much easier to clean and takes up far less room. I found the bigger highchairs too bulky, we dont have the room and they are pain in bum to clean a lot of them (trust me babies can get food in to cracks and gaps you didnt even know food could fit in!! ) I sold mine tho sorry cant help you there!

Winzy - cant help you on the manchester, I bought sheets from target and spotlight but the rest of As manchester I made. Oh plus 1 blanket from Best and Less they have some cute stuff.

Rach - OMG thats terrible they let the student look for the hb for so long!!!! I would have been freaking out too, glad to hear everything is ok

To our other preggo chicks Digby and Country hope you are both doing well xx

AFM - Everything is going well here, almost finished week 1 of prac. Busy and stressful but actually going better than I had anticipated so pretty happy. Still having some settling issues with A but overall she is being such a good girl, off to daycare 3 days per week and nannas house 2 days.

Right best get some sleep hope you are all well

Waiting.....thats great your first week of prac went so well, I hope it continues.

Lisa.....how are you going? It must be hard on yourself ATM just as it is on DH with his mum. I truely hope she's not in too much pain.

Rach.....knowing your history that was not good at all for them to have a (dr in training) try to find babies heart beat. Thankgoodness everything is ok. I wouldn't be letting a trainy check again for h/beat.

Country......wow your nearly at the 30 week mark, that's come up quick!

Winzy......I'd probably go to target for babies Manchester etc. They also have some great wraps etc & there prices are certainly much better than the baby shops.

Hi to everyone else, hope your all going well.

AFM.....well my dr did some bloods on me & the results yesterday show that my hemoglobin levels are right down so I'm now taking extra iron tablets. It does explain why I'm feeling so flat & tired 24/7. Today I had 36 week scan & checkup for the asthma study. The midwife took one look at my belly & then once I told her I'm also getting up every hour during the night with a full bladder & in need of a glass of water she did the sugar test. My levels hv now gone up to 8 (actually I think it was 8.? but can't remember so someone will be in contact with me about it & what to do next. Then I had the scan, Bubs is measuring 3.6 kilos (7.9 pounds) & with 4 weeks until term I'm ****ting myself how much bigger she's going to get. Her belly measurements are so high there also off the chart which is a sign also of GD so I'm trying not to be but worried about her. Placenta is still low but not covering.
I'm feeling sooooo flat it's really getting me down, just need a wee bit of energy. I'm seeing the specialist next Mon & I think I may burst into tears if they are unwilling to induce me earlier & also about the c-sect. Apart from taking iron tablets does anyone have any suggestions what food I should eat to get my hemoglobin levels up. I really want them to be right b4 the birth. My sister suggested apricots. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
I'm going out to dinner tonight with workmates to cafe primo. (not all from work but just a nice bunch of close friends) I'm looking forward to it, just wish I wasn't feeling so damn tired.
Sorry to dribble on about my issues. Thankyou to all who spent the time to read, I know I can go on a bit.
Well must go get in the shower ready to go out. Have a lovely weekend girls, I'll let you know how Monday's appt goes. Should be interesting!!

Digby - sorry I have no advice about the haemaglobin (sp?) levels but all I can say is dont stress too much about the measurements of baby from the scans. Late scans are renowned for being incorrect as its difficult to get measurements cos baby is so crowded. A was estimated at 39 weeks to to be 9lb at birth, she was born 3 days later at 7lb 4oz, no way she would have got to 9lb in 4 days!!! Hope they listen to you at the appt

Digby - i was anaemic too in pregnancy so ob had me on teh ferro-gradumet tablets, after the birth my hg went way down and i almost needed a transfusion, but she trialled me on the ferro gradumet + vit c tablets and they did the trick. You can eat lots of red meat and have a glass of OJ with it, but has to be OJ or citrus at least - you can take more than one tab a day too, i have one morn and night- or one FG + C and one elevit

waiting, thanks for teh pillow, ph playing up so not sure if your getting my messages or not but i will collect next week at some stage of thats OK

Im soooooooooooooooooo tired, i knew this would come, but obviously 5 weeks on 4 hours or less a night is beginning to take its toll, about to sound the old 'dont call us, we'll call you' text again, so far behind the 8 ball right now its not funny - and have a bluddy weekend full of mothers day stuff with our mums whan all i want is a quiet weekend at home with all my babies and maybe a nap......family hey!

Sorry to hear bout the possible gd my ob didt even do bloods to check my levels andmine were 7.7 last time hmmm... right on the threshold makes me worry now he also said i will prob have no more scans from now. Why did they scan u? I'm sure everything will be fine they r prob just being cautious. Good to hear the placenta is not covering though.
