MG.....that's the same highchair as we have. E used to luv sitting in it reclined back & low & watch the footy when she was about 5 months old. Kept her busy whilst I was doing my jobs around the house.
MG hope you have a nice & relaxing holiday xxx

    Hi all,

Sounds like everyone had a good catchup, bugger I couldn't make it, soooo tired, in bed asleep before 7.30pm that night.

Lisa - Sorry to hear about MIL, how's DH coping? Must be very hard for you all. I got a high-chair from K-mart, $90. It reclines, has different heights and wheels. It works for us. I agree about BB, we walked out once cause no one would serve us and we were at the counter with cash in our hands! As for thumb sucking, I don't know if there's much you can do????

Rach - What a scare for you, glad to hear bubs is doing well. 25wks! Holy cow!!

LM- How's everyone in your house? We must catch up, I still haven't met the twins, and Max has probably doubled in size it's been so long. I'll txt you. Hope you're managing some sleep. How's A going with her feeding?

Waiting - Hope your prac's going well. I'm sure it is, you're going to make an awesome teacher.

Winzy - Sounds like you had a great baby shower, enjoy maternity leave. When are you due?????

Digby - Not long to go, sounds like you're all organised.

MG - Glad to hear bubs is doing well. 12 wk scan!!!!! That went fast. Enjoy your holiday. We wanted to have one while I was pregnant with S, but weekly Dr visits made it a bit too hard.

Liv - hope the teething is not too hard on you all. S just cut a molar, ouch!

    Sam losing it back latewr.

    I'm back.

    Hope I remembered everyone.

We are all better now, kids are back at school.
Had a great whirlwind of a time back in NZ. Was very emotional saying goodbye to my Grandad and Nonna, but I'm so thankful I got the opportunity to see them again. Mended bridges with DH and had a night in the Barrossa with him. Our 1st night away from all of the children. Was nice to have some adult time, although it wasn't the romantic night Nick had planned, I was asleep, snoring before 8.30pm! Oh well, maybe next time.
Sam started walking about a week ago for 1 day, then stopped! He won't even take 1 step now! I think his body can do it but he's not quite ready mentally. He'll get there.
Sam has his echo on the 16th, so he doesn't have mummy's heart problems. Lots of specialist appts coming up for me and the boys over the next few months, thankfully DH is off for most of them, it's nice to have some moral support.
Off to the shops after Sam's nap, to buy P her birthday present. She's getting an ipod touch, and has no idea, as she thinks we can't afford it, (family has helped). I can't wait to see her face!

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry about being MIA so much lately. I have been flat out both at home and work.
Lisa - sorry to hear about MIL, I hope DH is making the most of his time with her.

Rach - Sorry to hear the learner doc wasn't too helpful but as you said they all have to start somewhere.

Digby & Winzy - Not long to go now, I imagine you are both very excited.

To everyone else I hope you are all travelling along well.

AFM - Not too much to report off to have GD test next week but I think I'll be fine have been checking my BSL with DH monitor and my levels have been perfect each time so far. I'm 27 weeks now. Still have alot of work to do in the baby's room although should be able to start painting very soon....yay!!!
    Take care for now

Mg - just letting you know you can request counselling on the day with SD - think it costs about $20 extra but we did it with the twins, so can be done, just have to request the counselling session when you book. If you stay with SD for all your scans after you have 3 done they are bulk billed also xx

Lisa - there is a really nice looking high chair on the toys r us catalogue - fisher price bentwood - really cheap - $139 when its usually over $300 - dont know much about it but its really nice to look at

rach bluddy trainees - i had one when preg with the twins who told me one wasnt moving at all - almost slapped her

Kiwi - yes, will catch up soon, free next week apart from wednesday and friday so happy to have you and sammy over for a play - brett still home though but he may appreciate some time in his man shed if you can help with the babes, im sure sam and max will keep each other busy. alos - keep the 19th june free, mark it on the calendar pls

to all, sorry its short, just had a quick read will have to come back later to read properly - for now im off to stoke up my new i-phone

LM - How's Mon or Tues for you? Either of those is free for me. Can I help with the babes????? HELLO!!!!! Of course I can. I can't wait to get my hands on them and smell that gorgeous baby smell. Brett get ready for some man time in your shed. Sam kinda has hair now, very impressive. Maybe Max can give Sam some walking tips.

CC - Nice to hear things are all going well for you. Painting the nursery, how exciting! I did ours twice, didn't like the 1st colour, lucky for me, it's a small room.

Shy - How's S going with his sleeps? Hope he's getting the hang of it and you're getting a break.

Hi girls - woo hoo I have my computer back!!! Has been about a month without a computer, and I hate using my phone to post!

Kiwi- glad to hear you are all better again, pity about your non-romantic night in the Barossa, but sometimes you just need a good night sleep! Thanks for asking about S, his sleeps are getting better! Usually the morning sleep is around 1.5 hours now, and the rest of the days sleeps around 40 mins with resettling for the rest of the hour! BUT - for the first time, he is in bed now and has been there for 1hr45 mins!!! This is unheard of for the afternoon nap! I did have to resettle him after about 55 mins, but, it worked! I had to cancel my Dr appt, but hell it is worth it! I don't know what to do with myself, not used to free time!

Lady - we have the love'n'care high chair from Babies are us. It was a gift, but we put it together the other day, and it looks really comfy. It has different levels, removable trays, and is on wheels. DS looks happy in it!

Rach - I agree, the experienced Dr should have found HB first. These trainee drs do need the experience, but not at the expense of freaking people out, esp with your history. But so glad to hear all is well, I hope you can relax soon and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy

CC - good to hear from you. GL with GD.

MA - hellloooooo, how are you?? Long time no hear, be good to catch up with you next Tuesday

MG - I'm so envious! have a great trip! Glad to hear you are finally able to share your news

AFM, so stoked S is having a bigger sleep right now! he is so cranky when he only has the 45 minute stint, so hoping for a happy baby when he wakes up! Speaking of which, I can hear him! Better run ta ta!

    Hi all

thanks for all the replies on the high chairs. it's a hard one. definetely want one with removable tray, height and recline adjustment (altho recline not as necessary as height) and on wheels. Am going to have a good look around very soon.
Can't believe BB are so poor in service! OMG....and get this.......THEY professionally installed my carseat! and guess what! Either they didn't do it properly in the beginning or it came loose (no-one has sat on that side of the seat). For a little while now his seat has slid over the back seat while going around corners - no matter how slow i went. i couldn't understand it and just thought that was the unfortunate way it was meant to be. I couldn't believe that a carseat was just restrained by the straps attached to the boot thingy. Anyway, i just happened to ask at mums group if anyone elses carseat slid.....and of course they didn't. So one of the mums checked mine out and sure enough the bottom strap wasn't done up! (of course i had no idea how to install a seat so didn't know anything of it). And it was probably likely that the bottom strap wasn't done in the first place because this mum took ages to adjust the strap to fit under the seat! can't believe a professional installer didn't do it properly!!! Why am i not surprised for BB! . So now it's all properly secure and there's no more sliding! but sheesh!

Country.....great to hear from you! wow you're nearly in the 30 weeks! Did you ever find out the sex?? goodluck for the GD test!

Digby.....Do you know the name of the thingy for the pram? the adult thingy? just so i can ring them and directly ask for it?

Kiwi....Good to hear all of you are well again and that you got to see your granddad and Nonna. goodbyes are never easy! so glad you got your weekend away and that you mended the bridges with DH! bugger about the romance but at least you had a decent sleep!

Shy..... Yay for S good sleeping!!

Quick question - what do you guys think of jumperoos? Charlie had a play in my friends Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo today and LOVED LOVED LOVED it!! am thinking about getting him one as he's so bored with all his current stuff.

Oh and Winzy....have fun shopping for the nursery manchester!! Not sure whether you should spend money on a nappy stacker as a few of my friends have said they're a waste of space. totally and entirely each to their own but i never got one and dont feel the need for one, but, hey, that's just me! Have fun!

Oh, an update on MIL, she got put into a coma this morning to stop the pain and to keep her comfortable. DH reckons it's only going to be a couple days away now. Oh my poor DH! at the age of 34 he now will have lost both his father and mother!
