Waiting - so exciting going to Brissie!! Hope you aren't going to Cairns!!! Hoping the ear settles for you and you will be good for flying tomorrow - ie meaning you wont be too sore - I know you WONT be cancelling again!!

Yes girls, not long to go!! I have almost finished packing my bag - just some tops and knickers which need to go in. I have had them ready to go, but haven't managed to pack them as Spencer has been MEGA clingy. Not sure what to do. He is also MEGA whingy, and I'm not sure if he has a mild temp. He's on antibugs for sore red ears from last week, and has a bit of a cough. Oh well.
Not much planned for his birthday except coffee and cake at our place for family only - which will be about 20ish anyway. Better practice a cake. I would like to bake him a cake, but I think if it all gets too much I'll just get one from a bakery. Got to get off to Big W and get him a smart trike as well. Anyone have any recommendations regarding trikes for me???? I know he probably should have had one before, but we thought he was a bit too young then. He'll be getting a swingset for christmas.

    Hi Ladies

Apologies I don't get on here often. Everything is going well with Emma, we've been very fortunate that she is a fairly good baby who regularly sleeps 6 hours a night. She will be 12 weeks tomorrow and at last weigh in was 11p 7oz (5210g).

Does anyone know of someone who would like to purchase some newborn nappies? We have a box of 144 Huggies which we cant use as Emma has outgrown them. We are looking at selling them for about $25 ($39 at Baby Bunting). If you know anyone that's interested can you please let me know.

Of course though MG, if you're interested, you have first dibs .

I hope everyone is doing well and Waiting is enjoying QLD as I type this.

I will try to keep up to date more often if I can

Hoping4 - I've stocked up on newborn nappies. Grrr!! Ring bb. The supermarkets are usually happy to swap for the next size, so I don't see why bb wouldn't as well. They may give you refund instead and then you purchase the next size up

    Hi all,

Hoping4 - Emma is 12wks already! Wow, so glad to hear all is going well with her. You'll have to join us on one of our catch ups.

MG - Very organised well done! How's S? Still clingy? Don't worry, he'll be right when bubs comes, he doesn't really have a choice! Hmmm, pink or blue for you.......................

Waiting - Hope your holiday is going fab, by the sound of your fb updates it is.

LM - congrats on the job, details please..............

All good here, Sam has his Speech path appt next Wed and P & J both have their school camps. Went Chrissy shopping yesterday, so stuck on what to get J, 9yr old boys are tricky to shop for! My little bro arrives in 2 wks, so excited!!!!! DH has taken that time off, thank goodness I've hardly seen him lately. Off to the hairdresser tomorrow, well overdue and out Fri night to a fundraising quiz night, should be fun. I'm also learning how to touch type while Sam naps, I'm ok just VERY slow. Have to keep busy, or I'll go insane.

Kiwi - Hope S speech path appoinment goes ok. Ill bet P&J come home knackered from school camp!! How cool that your bro is coming to visit!

MG - Not long now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmm pink or blue.....

Well we had an awesome time in QLD. Stayed with a fellow bubhubber and had playdates with bubhubbers from my original due date thread. Lexi had so much fun! Also caught up with a friend of mine who has moved to Brissie, was so good to see her, like we had never been apart! A loved Australia Zoo and the GC was great too. A ran around like a crazy child every day and had so much fun - we need a holiday after our holiday now!!

Speaking of which we are off to the S.East again this weekend, heading down friday, other family are heading down too and the Millicent show is on while we are there so that will keep A entertained. We are still keeping options open for the move so will be checking out childcare while we are there and Im popping in to the school for a visit, will be good to catch up

    Hope everyone is well

Glad you had a great time in Qld Waiting! Sounds like it was just the thing you guys needed! Hope you have a good time in Millicent. Won't hurt to visit the school and keep your memory fresh and alive there!!

Kiwi - enjoy your time off of P and J! And good luck for the speech path appt on Wednesday.

I have my growth scan on Wednesday and of course now DH and I wondered if we should find out if a boy or girl! We tortured ourselves last time with this too. No, we will not be finding out though. Like the surprise when it pops out too much!!

Yep, Spencer is still clingy. Funny how DH says to him, "now have a nice play outside this morning so mum can sit and do nothing at the table while you are outside" and I laugh in his face and say " as IF!!!" S is only interested when I am in his face doing sh!t with him unfortunately, so this will be a massive learning curve for him. I couldn't even get a load of washing on the line in one go while i was outside with him without him having a minor meltdown about who knows what! We are now at a different CC centre for 2 days a week now, and I think it is better for him anyway. I think it has a better vibe and he seems happier, even though last week was his first week. At least I get a bit of a break on those days now, until bub comes, so I feel like I'm coping a bit better anyway!!

DH and I had a date night on Saturday night which was REALLY nice. S stayed at MIL place for the night and DH and I went to Cos for dinner (Leigh St) - mega yummy and then went to movies to see Midnight in Paris, which I really liked. Of course, you need to suspend reality a bit with this movie, but it was an easy watch. Bub decided it would kick the living daylights out of my cervix though during the movie, which wasn't quite so pleasant, and caused DH to think I may be going into early labour!

MG - Bubs is just going to "pop" out, ah?!
Sam is the opposite to Spencer, he's his happiest out exploring the yard or house on his own. He really likes his own company and gets sh!tty, if I try and read books or play games with him. Glad CC is giving you a break.

Waiting - Sounds like you had a fabulous holiday, so glad it went well for you. Enjoy your weekend away.

afm - Sam has broken his glasses, no surprise there! He hates them!!!! Hope WCH has some ideas for us, cause we're out of them. Meanwhile his eye is turning in more, boo!!! Off to a Halloween party in the park with some other Mums and kids tonight, should be fun. Catch you later.

lmao Kiwi - Of course he'll just pop out - the way has been paved - aren't all subsequent children easy births???

Boo about Sam's glasses and double boo about his eye turning in more. Hope you can get it sorted soon.
    xx
