wow this thread is humming along!

Funky and Kelli, lets hope the trigger gets those eggies out and your men their part right so you can leave this thread and move on to greener pastures.

That goes for everyone else in the TWW.

Purpletulip, that's so terrible you need to pass basically a moral/ethical firness test to qualify for IVF!!!!! Can't imagine taking BCP now. Good luck with the new journey.

Miggins, woo hoo for your follie. There will be a few of us all in the TWW together. Look forward to a mass exodus from here!!!!

Bubba, hope the new meds help and the natural month treats you well.

AFM, had my scan today, if I base my clomid on a cycle that I had AF then I'm CD 16 today. Traditionally I O @CD20(if it's gonna happen) and the scan showed a lovely 18.7mm follie and a smaller 15mm one that I know will be too small, both on my right ovary. So Ready to trigger in the morning and will get busy both tomorrow and Thurs night.....maybe chuck in Friday too for good measure if I get hubby on board anyway.

    to everyone else

wahoooooooooooooooo to all the triggering going on!!!!!! I hope it brings lil pregnyl bubbies!!!

Kell hun I just dont tend to produce the surge thats needed to pop the follies and certainly not on time and then they grow huge into cysts. So that is why we now use the trigger and It worked a charm last cycle. The clomid helps grow em and the pregnyl gives the kick to pop them out lol!!! good luck hunny!!!

Chook o0o0o0o that other one hunny might catch up before you O hunny actually I am 99% sure it will the pregnyl helps to mature follies that are around 15mm!! good luck hunny!! thinking of you xoxoxo

    mwahs bewtiful ladies xoxoox

    Hi Ladies

What an awful week I have had my little boy is sick with gastro and has not stomached anything scince Sat and now they are saying he may need to go on I/V fluids. BUT he is so so happy. He amazes me!

Well AF arrived yesterday so cd2 for me and start of clomid again. I have the heaviest and clotting period though. Anyone else find this happened on clomid? I cant remember this last time i was on it.
But on the good side I pinned down when I O but didnt catch it!

Anyway we will start again and hope this time

Why do some have pregnyl? Is it part of IVF?

    Good luck all

Dell pregnyl is an injection that triggers your O to release the egg....clomid help to bring the egg to the surface and pregnyl pops it as some of us have follies but they dont pop and release the egg.

Hope your little boy is feeling better, it is amazing how resilient they are. Bummer for Af but im gald you pinpointed your O day

    Morning

Wow we woke up to a warm morning..NO heater needed, how nice!

Bubba: Ok so am i right in saying the one using pregnyl dont get periods? Is that how u know if u require pregnyl? I think i have myself confused and worried. I assume clomid is working for me and the eggs r popping as AF arrives un assisted? LOL so sorry bout the questions!

AF CD3 today and feeling a bit better although still clotting and tummy not settled but i cant tell how much is period related or did i get a bit of the gastro bug from my little cooper!

have a nice day and melbournians enjoy this weather it breaks tomorrow! I'm going to enjoy a play at park...A bt of fresh air for cooper will be good for him

Elly - fantastic! I've seen and read on many boards and sites that Kim Matthews is really highly regarded and very very good - fingers crossed this is the FS for you!!

Chook - thank you!!! I hope that your trigger went well - sounds like you have a good follie there! good luck!

Funky - its funny how you and i have ended up with almost sync'd cycles! lol How exciting if we both got UTD at the same time! lol My first 2 cycles of Clomid i didnt need a trigger - clomid worked a treat on its own but i obviously needed that little extra this time! I wonder if its co-incidence that during this cycle i had gastro and also spent the last 3 weeks extremely stressed about things...... for you!!

Dell - i cant say i've really had clotting issues on clomid before. Good luck with this cycle - while its diappointing with AF raises her head - it is nice to be able to start again and not wait around! All the best!

Bubba - how are things going with you??

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE this cycle! May it be our month!!!!! Bring on Awesome August!!

    xo

    Default First Time

    Hi everyone ,

I'm new to this so still trying to get the hang of understanding all the abbreviations!

Just wanted to say hi to you all, I'm starting my first round of clomid 5omg tomorrow (CD 5), so hopefully something happens! DH and I have been TTC for about 12 months, and are glad to be able to FINALLY try something other than "wait a few more months!". I've had the Provera, and I can definately say its been a bit odd having AF the last few days - since I hadn't since mid Jan.

Do any of you use OPK's? I had a bit of a google - and it said to wait at least 3 days post clomid otherwise you can get a false result?

Good luck and best wishes to you all!

Welcome calldy to pur little space here, i hope your stay is a short one.

I have used them and have never had a false + from clomid....they can be a little tricky to get the hang of them but we are here to help with any questions so feel free to post a pic if your not sure.

I got mine from oraclefretility.com.au and a good website is fertility friend for tracking your cycles and pinpointing your O day.

Well I'm cranky and devastated. I was meant to start af this week but it hasn't happened so no clomid for me after being prescribed it after 5 years of TTC I was so optimistic that this might actually happen for me but not so much now. I feel like I'm letting my DH down because my stupid body won't do what it's meant to do :-( I hate this :-(
