Yes I was told there is an increase of twin pregnancies but didn't think there would be 7 measuring over 2cm. Makes me think I won't ovulate with them all being large.[/QUOTE]

I was told by my FS that if this happened to me we would cancel the cycle (ie stop DTD and no IUI), as there is risk of more than twins...hope you get some answers from your FS!

    Default Question

I've just had my first lot of clomid this last month as I don't ovulate. I normally have a 35(ish) day cycle, and my FS had me take 50mg from day 2 for 5 days.
I had my day 21 progesterone test, which she said was inconclusive, and had me take another on day 25, which indicated I ovulated. The trouble is I did all my b'ding 5-10 days after taking the last tablet. Does this mean I ovulated later?? Did I miss my window????
    So confused!!!!

    Any answers would be great!

    Thanks ladies!

Yeah I do and my husband wants to as well- just got off the phone with him. I just don't want to risk it with the 7 large ones cause that would increase the chances of miscarriage to wouldn't it?

I always wondered what I would do in that situation missmya... its hard, cause theres a chance you could try and none could stick, just one could stick, or hell, all 7 could stick!! Definitely mulitples carry so many more risks then a singleton pregnancy, and the more the more risks.

I don't think i'd be game with that many though lol, 3 or 4 i would, but probably not anymore. Missing a month v's possibly having a very complicated pregnancy/bad outcome...
    its a tough one!!

how many mg was that on??

Yeah your right. I'm just going to miss this one! That was on 100mg for 5 days. The FS rooms said that my dose will be decreased back to 50mg next month.

Missmya.... I'd risk it for the biscuit I reckon!!! Remember they won't all pop.... And they might not all make it. And they might not all get fertilized etc etc etc. It is so hard to get the one egg each month.... I reckon this increases your chances of hitting one???? But I'm probably sooooo ignorant...!! Better than no eggs/ o at all.

Have you decided what you are going to do? I'm intrigued!

I just got home and took a OPK and it's positive!!! OMG something I've been waiting to see for months now! Im waking for hubby to get home to talk! I wish I could see into the future and see if the outcome would be good or bad.

I'm guessing the one sized 28mm will pop first the others are more around the 20mm to 24mm so I'm guessing they won't pop as soon as that one but what do I know! Haha

I said to myself on the drive home.. "I need a sign or something to tell me what to do" then I walk into the shops to get something for dinner and there is a lady there with twins in a pram! Maybe a coincidence but a weird one!! Haha
