Hi ladies!!! I'm back for round 2 of clomid but upped my dose to 100mg a day. ( I'm alittle scared but hopefully the metformin I was on helped. I've now changed to a slow release metformin as I was getting knocked around abit on the normal one.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up but I avoided all the forums until I started to feel better within myself as I was struggling abit last month. I'm now in a better head space.

Congrats to the ladies who have had success and ovulated and the ones that haven't - keep positive! I will try and do personals when I'm not on my phone.

I'm cd4 today and started my clomid tonight after seeing my FS this morning.

hey girlies, sorry I haven't been around. No time to scratch myself atm. my mum wrote off her car so has bee in hospy...her own selfish behaviour put her there so no sympathy here but helping dad out at home. DD3 turned 2 last Sat but was as sick as a dog with 40o temp amd vomiting poor mite.

Sorry to hear there is so much frustration in here. For those looking for then next step to clomid, most FS won't consider it till at least 3 failed cycles with no O. Alot of FS will cont for 6 cycles before upping the ante to injectables. On the other hand there have been a few girls that have gone onto injectables with only a couple of clomid cycles. So seek the opinion of your FS if this is for you.

I've just started my 8th clomid cycle ttc #4 now and on clomid day 2. Spoke to my FS yest and he gave me my date to get a scan but when I reviewed my calendar the date he gave me is too late I think so will revise it a bit and go 2 days earlier. I think I should call him to advise......

Lets hope for plenty of good news before christmas girls.

@chook, how do the injectables work? I have been advised that they will check my bloods one more time on sat morning and if not then i will start the injectables. I will only have had 2 failed cycles. Is this normal?

Also i have had to book in for a hsg test before i goto injectables. Still unsure what they actually do. Any advice would be great ladies! Fx this will work

rach thats pretty much what my cycle has always been. O around CD 19 with a luteal phase of 6 or 7 days, its so crappy. I've been put on progesterone pessaries this month as well to try and fix it... definitely worth trying to catch it though, if you're not sure when you O'd last month you might be fine. Good luck!!

AFM - my progesterone results came back at 53 6DPO, so thats really good. The pessaries must be doing their job, just hoping now AF doesnt show up, though the nurse said its unlikely with that level just yet
next blood test = pregnancy test next Wednesday!

Mybabybells- Can I ask how low your progesterone levels were before starting that? I have had less then 0.5 progesterone levels for the past 4 months but my FS doesn't seem to fused at the moment as he said there in a process to follow. I don't ovulate though and that's what we are trying to correct so maybe that's why it's so low.
At the moment my bloods are all in the follicular range instead of here there and Everywhere so both him and I are happy with that but just interested to know what yours were.

Wishing you all the best with the blood test!
