You are surely not alone Its also hard when i hear of people (honestly, the 'younger' ones) who fall PG instantly. My best friend told me a couple of weeks back that both her sister (24) and her brother's gf (20) are both PG, a couple of weeks apart.... both by 'accident'. She didn't want to tell me (as she knew i would be a bit upset), that just really frustrats me no end!
But don't get me wrong, positive thinking has to be the way to go, we all can't give up yet...

It's also so good to see so many 1st time Clomid ladies-it's nice to know I'm not the only one (not that I thought I was, but it's nice to have other people to talk to about all of this!) I've been feeling a bit lonely...I have LOTS and I mean LOTS of pregnant friends at the moment. I am literally the only one who isn't of those who want kids and it feels like every day I hear a new person with that news that I so desperately want to be able to share with everyone! I go home and cry-it's bittersweet because I'm so happy for friends, but it feels like a big kick in the stomach every time a new one announces. I've been putting on a brave face but I feel so sad all the time! DH has even been trying to keep it from me if he hears about another colleague's baby. When I asked him why, he said it hurts to see me cry, and reminds him that he is sad as well. I was so touched but feel so useless because we know he is fine, and it's all me =( I'm being a little tragic I know I know, and sorry for my little self pitying post but I don't know who else will understand but you girls. Everyone else just says 'you've got time, you have a wonderful life, you've got other things to enjoy' but that just makes it worse. =(
sorry guys, I'm such a wah-wah today....could it be the Clomid making me so tragic? Its my first round this month.
Hope you are all well, look forward to hearing about those who are testing this month! Fingers crossed for you all xxx
Don't worry about feeling like that about your friends. I do too and so does my hubby and I CANT stand it when people say things like that.. Especially when they say things like "think of something else and you will get pregnant" or it "will happen when it happens", "your only 27 you are still have plenty of time" (yeah in your books maybe!!) Grr!! I wouldn't be on medication if it would "just happen"
I know people just try to be nice but I've heard it a bit to much lately! Anyway... thats a whole other post! Lol.

wishing you all the very best on your 1st cycle of clomid. What cd are you up to? I hope we all have success this month!!

Maybe this is what 'normal' people who O experience i guess...
I used to get slightly sore bb's before being on clomid between O and AF, this month on clomid though OMG they are SOOO painful!! so maybe i think it has to be the clomid that makes it worse.

Welcome Bec Hope your stay here is short and sweet.

Keeping those crossed for you during the dreaded 2WW Rach

Hopefully- You most definatly not alone in feeling like you do. My SIXTEEN yr old sister announced that she was pregnant and keeping the baby right after my third m/c... and her and her bf have split up (shock horror) for ages i felt really ripped off that here she was having a baby when she can't even look after herself, and here i am... financially secure, married etc.. and it's such an ordeal for me to fall pregnant. On a side note to make matters worse, she had my neice in the toilet at home, in under 10 mins, one push... NO PAIN!! talk about feeling ripped off...lol.

AFM:- so a week and a half ago i thought that i wouldn't O this month, turns out at my ultrasound today that i have 4 follicles ranging in size from 18mm-21mm and i'm off to the FS tomorow to have a trigger injection. I'm totally shell shocked... over the moon, but also worried that i'll fall pregnant with more than just one baby..

hmmmmm so apart from the tiny bit on one wipe today i have nothing else since? what is going on?

Im excited there are a few of us at the same stage 1st cycle of clomid etc
Im ment to be taking it from 5-9, aparantly more chance of one good egg, where as 2-6 or 3-7 etc are more smaller eggs? no idea if this is true but someone on here mentioned this theory..

do i do what my FS says or do 3-7 or 4-8 lol?
    impatient u think? LOL

My best friend just had her baby on sat.. im sooooo damn clucky now, had so many cuddles etc im very happy for her but it makes it harder for the waiting game we are playing and about 8 babies already born this year with 6 more on the way with friends and family so i feel your pain!
although we are all happy for them it does make it hard..
however when ladies on here anounce im so thrilled cos its just another success story of clomid and women who have gone through the same thing
    FX for all of you
    xx

Oh ladies thankyou so much for being so supportive and lovely, I knew you'd understand!

Fallenangel-wow! So many! You must be proud of your ovaries this month hehe! =) Three cheers for multiples, I have my fingers crossed for you =) i would be ecstatic if we had twins!! =)

I'm on CD 7 missmya, where are you up to? equinemagic, I am doing days 5-9 Clomid, as that's what my gynaecologist recommended, with a BT on days 10 and 12, and an U/S to have a check on Monday (day 10) and see what's going on. I nearly cheated and went CD3 but figured I'd probably get caught out with the U/S haha =) I'd go with what your specialist suggests-they are the experts and hopefully are giving you the right information!

Thanks again everyone for sharing your stories and sympathizing! Makes me remember we are all in this together and that is so special. I can't wait to hear about BFPs from you girls and I won't cry about them because I know how much you all want them too!!! =) =) =)

    Xx

    wow you girls can
I can't keep up. As it's already been said, there are so many of you on your first cycle. I'm feeling ancient right now.
Just updating I had my scan today CD13 and had one 13.3mm follie on the left ovary. This is decent for me with normal medicated O around CD20. Need to have another scan on Tues and hopefully be ready to trigger then.Need to go catch up on what's happening here.
    Have a great weekend lovelies

Its interesting to hear so many people on different clomid days. I'm 2-6 and have kept on this as i have gotten results. I guess its what our dr's say (and trial on us), they know what they are doing.

I have heard that you should really only been on clomid for 6 months/6 times, is this correct??
After this time and we aren't PG my hubby and i discussed that he may need to do a semen test to ensure there are no probs with him. Have any of your partners been told to do this? I was told MONTHS ago that he needed to do this, but we decided to wait...

    Hey beckybabe,

My fs made Dh do the full semen testing (split test as well) at our first appointment! I got a list of bt as did dh, plus the semen test. He wouldn't go any further till everything had been tested in case it was a male factor.... I'm so glad he did, there is no guess work!

I reckon it's a good idea to get him tested.... Our fs also insisted hubby take a men's multivitamin- is urs doing that???

    X
