Girlx, most of us have at least a progesterone blood test @day 21 of our cycle to confirm whether we have O'd. If your FS has increased your dose and was unsure if you O'd then I'd push to at least get this simple blood test done for peace of mind. Some of us also have a scan a few days before expected O to check on follicle count and size. It's not necessary and can sometimes be expensive but it's also an option.

Dell, it's frustrating but you can't get a false pos from clomid. All it does is tell your brain to make more follicle stimulating hormone. Yo are definately pg babe!!!!!

Elly, how exciting, EPU already!!!!!!What fantastic numbers too.Sooper dooper.....you'll be pupo before you know it hey.

mrsboyts, gee 21 days of provera seems a long time. Anyone else in the thread been on it that long? Am I understanding your scenario.....21days of provera then AF for 7dys, @day 5 of bleed start clomid then day 23 from start of AF get bloods done???? That would be the logical way to interpret your info but it also doesn't seem like this is right either. Af won't come the day after you stop the provera it takes up to a week for it to start and then how long after the clomid tablets are you starting to take it again or has AF turned up naturally? Man I'm starting to confuse myself!

Foxxy, congrats to you too!!what a freak out to take a test just by chance. How are you feeling now? if your scan was showing 5wks then it was prob just a few days too early to see anything other than just a sac. Do you remember what cd you were and the size of your follies at your scan on 4/8? follies grow 1-2mm each day and generally pop @22-25mm or so by memory. It may help you with an approx O date.

    ok that'll do for tonight.
Even if I'm not posting, I am around and lok forward to more great news this month.

Girlx-- I think it's vital to have the CD21 blood test - otherwise you won't know if your not having conceived was due to lack of ovulation or needing an IUI. It makes the process of Clomid a lot simpler if you know for sure. GL!

Dell, not sure if I've congratulated you yet-- Congratulations!! I hope you get your results soon.

Congrats Elly - that's an amazing amount of Eggs. Not long now!

Congrats to you too, Foxxy So much great news!!

AFM, I'm on CD10. No EWCM thus far.

I do have a question - when and how often do you DTD? My Dr jumps between every day and every other day. I feel like we should go every day just in case. What do you do?

Thanks for the answers about the blood tests.

Congratulations, Dell! That's great about your BFP

I have an appointment with the FS on CD20, so could be good timing to ask him if I need the blood test.

Hi chook, yes you are interpreting it all correct. The problem with me is that for the past four years I haven't had any periods and before that I was on the pill and I used to skip a lot so I am not sure of my own cycle. I think tho I have finally figured it out. I think I'm a 34 day cycle gal because AF came today. I am in the most incredible pain today. So im confused about what to do know. I think I'm not going to take the provera next month and see what happens. I'm going to start my clomid tomorrow because I take it day 2-6 but my concern is I'm not getting any bloods done so I can't see if it is working. I bought a lot of ovulation kits on eBay so I will start using them.

My general question in should u have your period on your day 21 test? Sorry if that sounds dumb.

Thanks for the support! It stops me from going totally crazy :-)

    hi guys.
havent been in here for a while. had a short break plus a few problems
to start with AF came for 5 weeks continuously!!! couldnt get into see my FS, went to 2 drs who were both useless - couldnt speak english, googles my symptoms, count understand me, then decided just to go to emergency, was in so much pain and goin thru a massive night pad in 2 hrs! started by getting a lecture from the triage nurse about going to 2 drs - once i explained im a nurse and i know my rights he backed down!! got a fantastic dr who started me on primulot and told me to stop when i stopped bleeding! stopped bleeding 2 days later but took the pills an extra day just to be sure. then 2 days later AF came back with a vengence!!!! went straight to emergency, was goin thru 2 night pads in 1 hr with massive clots bigger than 50c coin. i sat in emergency (at a maternity hospital) for 6 hrs only to get a horrible Dr n told im not a life threatening case so i dont need to be in emergency plus the sonographer had left so i wudnt be able to have an u/s and no specialists or gynae in the whole hospital!!! ended up refusing to treat me coz my DH said "how can we go about getting this blood sorted?" and he didnt like that language!! so went home and doped up on painkillers and tried to get rid of pain. no luck. next day was bleeding even heavier and ended up in another hospital, where they were amazing, u/s showed nothing, pap showed nothing, gave me primulot (higher dose) for 3 wks and transexamic for 4 days. bleeding stopped after 4 days. got in to see my FS who explained we wont be able to concieve without help either IUI or IVF. DH has very very high testosterone levels and will stop producing swimmers in a yr or 2. so ive been on the pill for past month. will do another month n then all go for the IUI.
Has anyone tried IUI, had any sucess with IUI??
hope every1 is all good and getting BFPs.

Mrsboyts.....no you shouldnt have your Af on cd 21, but you may O early in your cycle.....its not dumb at all. the cycle day 21 test is for progesterone and if you have af your level would have already dropped so its pointless to have it. I would be seeing your fs again or getting a new one which has a set plan for you.

Dell...AWESOME NUMBERS ...i wish you all the best hunny.

sfurniss....your moving in with me we have decided to do IUI....but still waiting on bloody af to show so i can have the dye test before we proceed.
